Another day,
Another night,
Another nightmare knocks upon the door

The dreams, scared away,
Flee in fear until tomorrow

But they won't come back,
The nightmares are here to stay,
To linger and chat,
To rest and to play,

Perhaps I shouldn't sleep,
It won't take to long,
For the day to shine in,
Until the monsters are gone

The cackles and growls,
Of my nightmares reside,
Not in my room,
But inside my mind
