She painted pictures in her dreams,
A secret canvas
no one sees.
Colours,
blending into form,
Forever there,
since she's been born.

Patterns from a different time,
embellish hopes within her mind.
With every sketch,
her thoughts would wonder.
To a place
well far beyonder.

She told me once,
"All that you dream,
"You can own,
if you believe".

"Sketch the world
inside your mind
Recieve the grace
   that time will find".

And as the brush
rests on the table.
Lyrics, pictures,words,
and fables.
All within her knowing eyes,
A thousand different shades of sky.
