Canadian Moment
~~

*The shoreline of the great lake is adorned with
the majestic maples.
wearing their fall red coats of splendor.
The lakes still waters reflecting their images.
The edge of the setting sky
joining  in the upside down
picture that is changing by the moment.
Adding greys and magenta
to the blood red maples reflection.

We never see the lake as colorful
except in its autumnal glory.
The golden sun falls slowly on the horizon.
The sky crumbles into rainbows of red.
Eager to join the forming painting
on the waters silvered surface
as nature paints with her palette.

Darkness cast her peaceful shadow
The wild life comes to the shoreline slowly.
To join in all living things in a silent prayer
of gratitude for such bounty.

I am not human
they are not animals
We are all as one life species
speaking a language
That needs no words
