Things too terrifying to remember
Yet too real to forget
Will the memories ever fade?
Will I always live with regret?

Ghosts surround me
Wherever I turn
They laugh and they haunt me
I feel the fire, the burn

I close my eyes
Try to shut down my head
They never leave me alone
They taunt me in bed

I drink from the bottle
The red liquid my only friend
The ghosts fade away
Or am I just dead
