There is one word today
That can destroy my day

It seems to have ruined me

And the effect on my life is absurd
That one word happens to be a name
A name that I once used to adore
But now it seems to ruin all I do
As I lose everything that's in store

The name constantly echoes in my head
And seems to continue until I am dead
