May 2011
A man wailing chintown on his horn in the rain
Loose change spills from my brain
thoughts evaporate
as I scrounge for a meal and a mayday
marbeled stars dizzy under my feet
the million times walked over vine street dreams
the rocks in the gut
the things I can't speak
i see
a broken down reality painted in gold leaf
a mansion set face in front of a sewer
Dear hollywood,
       The everlasting last minute maneuver
