This is me, a door without a key
a life lived collectively
longing to be free..
This is you, the exact opposite
full of triumphs and degree
a life in reality
Bitter beers and empty talk
each time we crossed path,
you say tomorrow will be new
yet nothing really changes..
Armed with wit and courage
we pushed through our lives.
Decades come and go
yet nothing's really changing..
One step forward skillfuly
flip the pages of your book,
This will be your everything
A drop of tear, an endless rain..
A new day started torn roses everywhere,
A news from oversesas, abitter tragedy
40 years of giving in, they opened up their eyes
You walked and lived your life
As if nothing's really changing..
Again I woke from a shaking fantasy,
Like Kaijus from the movies
Big waves that stormed the seas
Armed with love and peace
We'll fight and lend a hand
You say the world goes on
and it's like nothing's really changing..
Flip the pages of your book
like in the mirror you overlooked
A silent weep so desperate
a dying wish, someone save me..
One by one I take each step
careful and heavy,
you always say that it's not a good idea
Part by part I think aloud
and share you my story,
But then you'll say just shout it out
just shout it out..
Passing days,  they stitch our lives
surreal scenes of waiting in line,
uncertainty for you are me
I bet you're longing to be free..
