Who's On The Inside

A slave to surface beauty
never more I'll be,
allured by it's spell
of uncertainty.
Attraction lies in the eyes
of the beholder,
changing rapidly
every year we grow older.
Vanity once had
a hold on me,
now older and wiser
it's plain to see.
What's on the outside
is simply a shell,
it's who's on the inside that's
meant to excel!
