Silence is the sound
Of a tree falling down
In the forest.

He's very often sorry
But he doesn't say it.

Silence is the sound
Of the sun beating down
In the forest.

He's very often sorry
But he doesn't say it.
It's like he kind of prays it
But nobody else can hear it,
Still less likely believe it.

Silence is the sound
Of the rain coming down
In the forest.

*He's very often sorry
But he doesn't say it.
It's like he kind of prays it
But nobody else can hear it,
Still less likely believe it.
And though he doesn't say it
He's very often sorry.
