Some people are born in sadness.
Forged in despair.
Even the slightest spell of loneliness
Consumes them completely.
Loneliness follows them
Though they run through time
Hiding in the cracks.
There it is again.
No escape for them tonight.
Keep running weary warriors.
For one day the sadness will be no longer.

This world knows not of true beauty.
It ceases to notice its magnificence,
This world spits at its steps,
Smears beauty’s face with its grimy palms,
Uses its unclean eyes to gawk at it only to call it
Nonsense.
Breathes on to it foulness that rots it at its core.
Its this world that leads beauty’s creator to do its ***** work.

Thoughts I can’t seem to quiet down.
It’s loud and lonely in my head.
Silence will not come for me tonight.
No peace and comfort to cradle me.
Cold and alone, I worry and reconsider with only my thoughts to keep me company.
They are never ending.
One after another flying towards the front of my mind.
I try to dodge them but its no use. There is nowhere to hide from myself.
For once I would like them to stop their constant murmurs and screams.
I remember a time long ago where peace was all I had
Now its questions and scenarios.
I will never regain that calm for I know too much and expect too much now.
Quiet. Silence.
These are things I no longer know.

It begins with a spark.
An idea, an overwhelming sense of warmth.
Devouring oxygen; growing.
It continues to build consuming you slowly
Till it engulfs you and every thought.
It burns deep inside you and shines in your eyes.
Let it burn up your irises for it is your guiding light through this dark world.
Look above to the blazing stars as that is where you will be,
On fire where you belong

Turn me back into stardust
Blow away the earth that made up my flesh
Pull apart the atoms that once made many and had grown to construct me
In the end we all go back to where we came from.
The stars and planets that had designed us call us back.
And again…
We form into something else.
The stars, they don’t just burn out
They die and disintegrate;
Cinders blowing through the universe till they reach another form.
Destined to live another life.

Keep soft.
Let not the world make you rough
Let it not make your barrier impermeable
Retain your wonder and your innocent eyes.
Look at the world with new, untainted amazement,
As it still holds beauty and let its warmth consume your coldness.
And though you shall never forget,
Let it not burden your soul.
