Rants explode everywhere
A complaint has been filed
A pessimistic thought has been heard

We humans take this
The world and its nature
The oxygen and water
Everything for granted

Have we ever sat back
And thought
How lucky we are
To have this?

Those drops of water in a drizzle
Bring life to those plants
The oxygen from the greenery
Fuel our very existence

Do we ever really think
About the little things in life
The ones that really matter
The ones that we get by

Do you think about me?
Are my doubts true?
My mind is haunted
By thoughts of you

I read your poems,
Your tweets, your posts
Just wishing, just hoping
That there is a mention of me

Do you know
That it truly does break my heart
When I hear you say
Things about your crush

Sometimes I know,
I tend to over read
But it can't be helped
Not when your heart does so

At other times, I wish
I could have a minute in your mind
Just so I could know
If it was me I would find

Your little hints
All those stares
Are they really what I think they are
Or is it just my lovestruck heart?

I guess there are things
I'll never know

to be a flying bird

A world filled with
Love, opportunities and hope

The truth?
A world filled with
Hatred, pain and loss

The one who doesn't understand
Why they did that
How they could do that to her

She had friends
Oh, they are still her friends
But an action on their part
Fueled her worry and anxiety

The fire is still burning
She is still worried
She feels left out
And alone

No one cares
That's what she thinks
People just don't like her
That's what she thinks she knows

Did you hear about the girl?
The one who doesn't know
How to get over the dreary mood
That shadows over her, time and again

Why is it that
No matter where I am,
No matter what I do,
No matter who I'm talking to,
I'm still thinking of you?
