I grasped her hips
and whispered quips
into her sultry ear.
With a mischievous leer
I pulled her near
and kissed her softened lips.

Early morning
and I arose-
Without warning
you'd propose
to dose me sweet,
and you'd persist
to give a treat:
and so you kissed.
Your roses bloomed
around your pearls
and you resumed,
while my toes curled,
to kiss me soft.
(And although I lay,
I stand aloft
In early day).

Rupture

All the songs I hear
All the women I see
All the things I fear
All the pain inside me

All these things remind me of
All of what was once our love

Things got hot,
Things got heavy.
I hit the spot
And broke the levee.
The water rushed
Onto my spread.
Her body flushed
And soaked my bed.
