I loved you.
Even if it wasn't the way you wanted me to love you.
You were my best friend and I’m sorry I couldn't be there for you when you needed me to be.
I tried to be there for you once I found out but by then it was too late.
You had made up your mind.
Please forgive me for not trying to help you sooner.
Every day I watch our video,
and every day I cry because I know I’ll never get to see that smiling face again.
Maybe if I had loved you the way you wanted me to…
Maybe then you wouldn't have had that coffee.
I can’t walk by there anymore without crying.
Even though you’re gone now it will always be Our Place.
The only reason I’m still here is because of my promise to you.
Believe me I would have killed myself the day after our video if it wasn't for the promise I made to you.
But…
Life isn't the same without you.
I’m selfish for saying this but I need you.
So please don’t be dead.
Please come back, I’ll love you the way you wanted me to love you and things can get better.
You always told me it would get better.
Too bad things didn't get better for you…
Even though you won’t read this I want it to be buried with you.
Just know how much I miss you.

Let me hold you,
Even if you can’t hold me back.

Even though you say you love me,
It’s not the way I want you to but...
That’s alright with me,
Because I’ll love you enough for the both of us.

Because being beside you,
That’s all I want.
Being with you,
That’s all I need.

So just stay by my side,
That is my only request.

Peaceful Love

I am in love with the Rain.
The way she holds me,
The way she covers me completely.
I am in love with the Rain.
The way she kisses my face,
The way she is warm against my body.

I am in love with the Rain.
And the light touches that dance across my skin,
And that feeling of peace and comfort in her arms.
I am in love with the Rain.
And she holds me and protects me,
And she shields me from the rest of the world.

As we stand together though apart,
As I link my fingers with hers and smile.

As she is the only thing on my mind.
