i want you
to think of me when your
crooked fingers slip under the waistband
of your favorite blue jeans;

to taste me when you press your lips
against the wine bottles we once
drank from under the crystalline moon;

to bleed when you see my deepest regrets
slit poetry in words of our love
onto your skin.

his lips are fire
her tongue is ice
he tastes of musk and whiskey
she smells of unlit cigarettes
his eyes smirk with forbidden desires
her legs bestriding his hips
he delightfully traces her curves
she pleads for his velvet kisses
his whispers promise ecstasy
her words dutifully agree

their bodies shiver with
electrifying beauty
Florence Woo Mar 2014
the depths of your eyes
are swimming with long lost
affection and your heart
heaves and trudges along
the long mangled railroads; all
gently mapped with my
collarbones and

it is beautiful,
our intertwined souls
are beautiful.

smoke is within me,
inside my rusting lungs,
seeping through the
puckered lips of my rib cage
kissing the fragile walls
and leaving charcoal markings
in shapes of fingerprints.

please stop leaving
traces
all over my body.

you bring out the
truculent psyche inside
me, the darkness within, the
seven deadly sins.

i embody lust because like glass
i am grains of sand struck
by lightning, paralyzed
with fascination,
morphing into the constant craving
i never was before.

i represent envy because you
are on the other side, and the
other side doesn’t know how lucky
it is to have you; your lingering
breath and soul.

i am sloth because like all
lonely mortals, deficiency of love,
the absence of you withdraws me
from passion and fervour, for
non-fictitious emotions.

i exhibit wrath because our bones
once clinched tightly together have
shattered beneath. your
touch is now foreign, this
vexes me and i am spiralling
down an
infernal
of self-loathe.

i symbolize gluttony because i often
indulge within the taste of your
lips, your beguiling smile all
without which i feel astray,
swimming in an ocean of lost love;
i yearn for you excessively, to
be with me, only me.

i am both pride and greed
infused into one because
i am still persistently craving for
more, yet too vain to openly
admit it to the world.

you have spun me over
and pulled me apart, now
i’m a sinner with
you perpetually in my heart.

XI.
your fingers on my spine are
tracing stars and weaving together
constellations that even the
galaxy could not foresee.

i want to explore the horizons
within your eyes,
i want to see the misty
craters, comets and planets
threatening to spill
from under your eyelids;
each drizzle more beautiful
than the
fallen ones.

IV.
and the stars will always shine, we are
delicately strung and i seem
restless, resentful even. but still

i care; i always have and
always will. because
not too long ago, every
lulling thought i had, led back
into that misunderstood soul of yours.

((and i loved it)).
