Every (little) thing

Every (little) difficulty

is much more

difficult

through a screen.
Poem Five for CAS
This poem is my general frustration at the needless prolonged process that misunderstandings through virually learning causes.

One
Higher and louder, lost
in thought
Two
Older and intelligent, teaching
those after
Three
Smallest and naive, forget
the diaeresis
Four
Technical and lonely, always
in song
Put all in one lovely, little
space and
life becomes harder with
distractions.
Poem Three for CAS
This poem explains my home set up. I am in high school and I sing very loud, my mami teaches third grade, my youngest sister isn't the best speller, my other sister is alway stuck in the technicalities of everything and is always singing (she doesn't sing well). We all work in the same room and every little thing is a distraction.

Sing, singers
though we can't hear you.
Dance through your house
Sing in your hallways
Let the sound

re

ber

ate.

Some odd how,
we all sing together.
Poem Three for CAS
This poem recounts my sentiment toward a virtual chorus. We can't sing together in class, the seconds of lag prevent perfect unison, but since we all sing at some point, we end up singing in a broken unison. The "reverberate" line shows the empty sound of singing alone or in your own house.

I knew you
but didn't.
I saw you
but I didn't.
We talked
but didn't.
I listened.
Now that I can't
know,
see,
talk,
listen,
We have become
closer
than we ever
were when I
could.
Poem Two for CAS
This poem explains how I felt when I realized that a boy I knew last year when school was in person became my best friend after we went virtual. We are quite close friends now.

Being away, far from
reality
it seems, brings
things we don't
notice
in reality
to fantasy.
Beautiful from far away
and
Difficult close up.
Things we take
for granted.
Far away makes us blind
Close up makes us
blind.
Poem One for CAS
This poem is a romantical recount of a class in which a girl had finally gotten a camera that works. The teacher said "So, that's what you look like!" She then commented on the beauty of her smile. I saw that interaction as something that would have been taken for granted in reality.
