The past doesn't always stay dead
It resurfaces and appears in our life
More times that we can count
Our past is what makes us who we are

We empathize with others

Where was I?
I think I remember but I'm not entirely sure anymore
Maybe I woke up here  to do something
Or maybe I'm meeting someone.
I can be sure anymore
Everything seems just to blur together now
Fragments of the previous day entering and exiting my mind
Much like wind blows  through a house window.
I see her face.
Just slight glimpses, nothing vivid enough for me to hang on to.
There is also a shadow standing in the doorway
No face, No voice
It just  looks at me.
I cant remember much anymore
Just her.
So, what's the last thing you remember?

If knowledge is power
The power is gone
Things we knew are now proven wrong
Surprises have come and surprises have passed
Without emotion for this I lack
I dream of on day seeing the ships in the far
White sails full of hope and yet unmarred
The world we know is not the world that's real
Covered with lairs and beggars who steal
