We sit on your floor
smoking our blunts
regret fills our lips, our tongues,
our throats, our minds

I take a sip of grey goose
and cry
because we are opposites meant to collide
but I swear to god that's how they make stars
your burning embrace like a wildfire
destructive

you are like dope to me
you give me such a lovely high
but when you leave
I have the worst come down
I hate that you made me this way
that you made me dependent on your existence.
*******.

I'm scared of the future... What am I gonna do? It's either I'm suffocated by all my thoughts and ideas rushing to be written,
but at the same time,
all I hear is "you need to get an education"
"get a job"
I am in the midst of a sea of capitalism without a paddle...
This world is a cruel world & I doubt that I have the ambition to survive in it, because I am currently
a hormonal oxymoron. Emphasis on the *****.
I have to deny myself the feeling of longing, desire, or else the bitter, lonely monster that rests in the depths of my heart will ****** my mind with the promise, the irresistible thought of happiness.

Free
it's summer
and I'm alright
it's so hot
the type of heat that cannot be wiped away
Briana's still in the picture
I miss her
I miss a lot of things
I miss the way the sun would kiss me
and darken my freckles
and turn my hair gold
I miss the way we were all so happy
now I just don't know
I don't know where I'm going
or where I want to go
I'm so ****** up
I just wish it was summertime.
