I'll meet you at dusk then,
where the memories fall in autumn...

Chaos...
Dusty yellow street lights,
honking truck drivers...
cigarette smoke puffed carelessly in your face..
and the quest..
the unending quest for a single free breath...
giving you the slip at every bend in the clogged road...
the careful painstaking preserving of that one impossibility,
the concentration of all of existence on a handful of dust....

The bells are ringing
Christmas, class, alarm clocks
singing 2010 to sleep
bringing us closer to
a brighter new time,
another chance to love, fail, succeed
a clean white fog to cover the ***** snow
and the blood on our boots
I hear them ringing
and I sit beneath mistletoe
waiting for Lady Luck
to give me a new year.

Kiss me how the ocean kisses the shore.
Endlessly.
Tough enough to change it yet soft enough to not damage it.
Enough to wipe away the marks left behind, but everyone knows what still was.

Kiss me like the shore kisses the ocean.
Endlessly.
Tough enough to not completely change, yet soft enough to give itself  to the ocean little by little.
Enough to push the ocean away but everyone knows it'll come back for more.

Kiss me like the ocean and shore kiss each other.
Endlessly.
Tough enough to stand alone yet soft enough to join each other.
Enough to change, morph, disappear, then reappear but always going with each other.

Just kiss me.
Dancing
without music,
just sand between our toes,
swaying in rhythm to the sound
of waves.

Today is the day
to take a break from your life.
Do something pointless.

Form of poetry: haiku

Thunderstorms and rain,
all the petals blown away.
Dawn of a new day

Form of poetry: Haiku
Pretty, sweet
pind, red
blue, purple

bright, cold
yellow, orange
green, brown

Ugly, dead
brown,black
crisp, gone
farewell salty sea water
the sun bids you adieux
the moon takes the tides
and with it
the waves say goodnight
