fireflies cry
meteor showers alight the skies
walls shake and shudder with fright
once again, our love ignites

sweeten my air with thy breath
painted smiles eternal in death
euphoria - a lack of oxygen
it is yours to take

fluttering eyelashes
blinded by insecurity's ashes
memories yet etched
stroke by stroke, illustrates drowned sketches

wondrous hues color our laughter
hoping to win salvation hereafter
tolls taken, bridges crossed
warming up what once was frost

aligned prints
of natural tint
puzzled pieces; fitted keys
drinking up the traveler's tree

rain dances
with deadly chances
against concrete; impermeable
their awakening, a far-fetched fable

words hurry; count in light years
looking out, my being disappears
into yours, it shall enter
our love... a dulcet tenor

Discarded loincloths adorn the table.
No one pays attention to the spilled milk,
catching the fever, we turn the other cheek
our hastiness turn upbeat over prevalence

it is hard; juxtapositions lie at your fingertips.

the beginning was a serrated dawn
past and imaginations folded
like the creased edges of a paper fan

raindrops were not calculated trajectories
I had once forced upon myself

but a distant memory
unbeknownst to those who never look past
the tide of their vision
impressions pressed into our days
duties followed; marching to the beat of predecessors

yet the tide rolls in
forevermore relinquishing celestial pull

twilight falls with grievances long overdue
the water births it's friction
straying from wind's course

the end was a planate dusk
chimeric chances and futures rejoiced
like the musical notes of the breeze
the paper fan now blew
