Here goes nothing
My beautiful nothing.

Oh how I wish I wouldn’t miss you
How I wish your silence wouldn’t ring out in my brain
But most all I wish that what could never and will never, never crossed my mind.

There was a time when I wished for more
Like for the hooks , you don’t have, to restrain me
For the train tickets ,we never bought, to go unused
And for the love, we never shared, to cross your mind.

Now I only wish it never did mine
But when it comes to Nothing you can only wish

Nothing was never good to me
Never once gave my feeling a second thought
Sorrys only came when asked
Promises only ever said
But one day I hope to meet a nothing as sweet as you in my head

To those I told were never my nothing
Who I made uncomfortable with my fidgets and bluffings
I’m sorry we ever met and I’m sorry that I saw you as nothing

Goodbye Nothing
