Third Eye Candy
time is like a stale wink in a flurry of numb skulls
killing the landscape with obvious globes of misbegotten tropes.
more of a casual blight than the usual love,
an extraordinary thing… darker now, because…
Time is the sworn enemy of me.
a heap of Judas in the pinwheel of my effigy.
burning too many kingdoms to Queen.
I rejoice when the sour sky has fallen -
but Not Like Happy.
more like a glum sugar on a wave
heaping all the always upon
a Right Now
for Nothing

While I was lamenting the
past, overwrought about the
future, the present became their
fulcrum, with a pivot point,
which, had I been aware, was an
abbreviation, marking, now, but I
neglected to pause, thus missing
the moment.

May said, I may, in May,
but it is almost June, so,
the may, in May, may not
be what May means, maybe!

do you sense a shift

corner turn
wind bring

mary poppins
from north ancestral lands

sky-blue signals
perfect blue

blue of whale

blue in the eyes of the newborn

blue of the revolution

this morning
half moon
over the mountain
south of the peak

three clouds
thinning to two

over sedona red rock
one o so tiny cloud
has near disappeared

to blue signals
Was out walking, just have gotten back---feeling giant change this may 24th 2019 9:52 a.m. high desert az. Is this only me changing? Seems HUGELY bigger.

"I can see clearly now, the rain is gone...all of the sad feelings have disappeared" I love you, Jonny Nash.

oh, but look at what grew

all because of the dirt
that they once threw
(our souls were meant
to bruise in galaxies too)
