I have become deaf to my voice of reason
I have given in to my inner demon
My angers exploding and my heart is freezing
The weight of responsibility on my shoulder's easing
My eyes open wide and my throat starts seizing
I'm confused now because I stopped breathing
But I caught my breath as I saw the demons were teasing
My pain and suffering is all to their pleasing
I see the errors of my choice on this dark cold evening
The demons agreement with me was rather deceiving
But it was I that deceived them as they saw my knife gleaming
I killed him and asked them why the **** he was leaving
We made an agreement that you won't be relieving

(Chorus)
I have now sunk deeper than the very depths of hell
The demons removed my evil from it's holding cell
Their plan to ***** me over didn't work out too well
My own demon's breaking out from this human shell
Anyone think they can add to it

I sometimes feel that there's two worlds that overlap
One that's full of brightness and one that's just a load of crap
And we see a different one depending on how we feel
So it's up to all of us to choose which one we see as real
It's a little thing that we all know as point of view
Your perspective is made by the feelings that reside in you
It's more of a rap than a poem but oh well
