Who is this God?
about whom I constantly hear?
is he all-loving?
is he even here?

Does he stand by,
some say very near,
to watch what you do,
Will he be there to cheer?

If so, does he watch?
when we break down in fear?
while we struggle to survive?
all with an unwavering stare?

Who is this God person?
A boat captain that doesn't steer?
A being that stands and waits,
watching from the rear?
Do you ever feel,
the burden of silence?
Its empty weight filling your chest with the pure sound of nothing,
a vacuum of thoughts and suppressed sounds.
It builds the need to move a finger,
to break the silent noise with the rustle of sheets,
to release a heavy breath or twist your head,
in hopes of filling the room with the presence of sound.
Yet do you ever feel,
the beauty of an empty room,
its sounds and noises slowly dying as darkness creeps in,
a mere breath too loud for the peace of a quiet moment in time.
For the most beautiful words,
and the most beautiful sounds,
are those that lie unspoken, unheard,
still -
only alive within our thoughts,
in the quiet of the night.
I walk in the cold and the snow kisses my face while the breeze makes love to eyes tired of staring into the sun.

I walk in the cold and the silence of unpeopled streets whispers tunes of frozen myths about love and mystery and my ears blush.

I walk in the cold and it bites my red nose as it inhales perfume of chill and smiles.

I walk in the cold and the cool wind waltzes with my red hair on symphonies of crisp snow flakes falling on the ground.

I walk in the cold and my breaths escape as white waves crashing into the emptiness of piercing ice.

I walk in the cold and the cold walks in me.
Afraid to be in love,
afraid of losing control.
Afraid of all you promise me,
because I don't know where I'll fall.
Maybe the wind has blown you
Or the waves have washed ashore
A song of love by two hearts
Written in a romantic harbor

They perfected each memory,
As countless as the grains of sand,
Breathed devotion as deep as the sea
In this tropical dreamland

They weaved a vow of love
As vast as the boundless sky
And promised to stay with much fervor
Beyond the end of time

Some pacts fade with the changing season
But love made in this harbor stays
And so any hearts that here make a vow
Remains in love, forever and always.
I wrote this for a beach wedding brochure.
four billows browned the sky
eight nights ago
this night our eyes saw
the distance between our lives
this night saw what bellowed
once our eyes met
for the fourth time
anticipation
only bridles the night
eight nights later
i know
we will never meet again
the night does not worry
It
was always
the darkest part
of the ocean floor
where the sun's rays will
never
touch the
sand.
I only wish more than to burry myself
Deep within the ground
Only so my body can wither away
So my bones may decay
So I may become the dirt
Where the flowers will grow
Where the sun will shine
I want to infuse with the earth
I want to be useful for something
