Roses are red
violets are blue
it's so hard to admit
that I love you

Strawberries are red
blueberries are blue
I wasn't told
that you love me too

giving up

my life
my heart
are filled with rain
sorrow
pain
guilt

it has been like this
since the day
my world changed
turned upside down

I lost everything
my purposes
I had no reason
to continue living
this pathetic life
of mine
all hope is gone
darkness prevailed

but then
you came

the light
at the end of the tunnel
the white moon
at night time
my savior

thanks to you
the rain
has stopped

I still remember
the way
you made me smile
you brought me up
on my lowest days

I still remember
how our eyes met
from across the room
the laughter in them
your amused face
the twitching of your lips
trying not to release
that crooked smile of yours

I still remember
your striking clear eyes
our silent conversations
conveyed through our eyes

All of them
are nothing more
than memories

You left me all alone
in utter despair
but I won't stop
remembering

we could freeze time
and stay this way
forever
for an eternity

I wish
that you and I
will be together
heart and soul
for the rest of our lives

I wish
for a lot of things
dreams
but wishes
don't always come true

every time I see you
I see home

It's so easy
to feel at ease
lose my restraints
be free
around you

It's so easy
to forget
the world
the darkness
the rain
the pain
when I'm with you

It's so easy
to love you
the light of my life

It's so easy
to remember
our laughter
our good times
our memories

It's so hard
to realize
how I meant nothing
to you
you tossed me away
like I'm worthless

It's so easy
how we fell off the track
of our future
that we planned

It's so easy
how you forgot
the promises you made
that you swore
you'll never break

It's so easy
to hate you
resent you
fill my heart with hatred
act like you destroyed me
my heart
my soul

but it's never easy
to forget you

our time together
my time with you

A curious affair

I was walking down the stair
when I saw you there
your mane of hair
and haunting eyes were so gorgeous I swear
it made me stare
I didn't realize there was a pear
so I tumbled down the stair

I was flailing through the air
screaming in despair
cursing my impair
I'll be crushed like that pear
and you didn't even care
I closed my eyes in prepare
will my life end on this stair?

Suddenly you were there
catching me in your arms with care
as strong as a bear
you gave me a stare
your eyes shone with care
and I knew that no one could compare
the bond that we share

It's one of those nights

It's one of those nights
where I crave for you
your bright eyes
your wide smile
your messy hair
how you cheer me up
make me forget
all my pain
your touch
is like fire on my skin
sends my blood racing
the way you hold me
in your arms
I feel safe
appeased
at home
this longing in my heart
hurts so bad
all those are nothing but
memories in the rain
