I wonder if I could.
I wonder if I want.
Then again the question would be would

Maybe I can.
Perhaps it is so
But perhaps it has already began

So be it so
So be it now
So be it to disavow!

Then again I question,
I wonder,
Is this my obsession?

If you'd stop loving me,
I'd fall in love once more
Then another, then three,
Then perhaps another four

No matter how much we fight
No matter if we fight for an hour or two or ten,
I definitely won't lose light,
Instead I'll fall for you again and again and again.

The flowers are in bloom...
      and so are you
So much so the sky will open up...
      just for you
And angels will come rushing out...
      looking for you
For you have something they own...
      yes it is true

A smile so beautiful;
      painted with an angelic hue
A smile lovely enough,
to make me chase after you...

But the angels will return empty-handed,
      will cry adieu!
for no one can ever take
                  that sweet, angelic you
.2014.

I watch people suffer day until night
As I watch them scream and shout, I just write
Sometimes I sing songs for the pale moon light
As the other people rally and fight

They look at me with such envy and disgust
So I wonder why the do what they must.
Nevertheless I've seem to lose their trust
still, it's too trivial: they'll end up as dust

So I say to them: Why not take your time?
Be a priest, be an actor, be a mime!

Just trust what I say; sit back, just relax
So you can enjoy your life to the max

Isa, dalawa, hanggang sampu.
Bilang sa daliri ko
Ang bilang ng araw na umuwi
Ako na hindi lasing

Sa pagpasok pa lang
Uwi na ang hinahanap
Para makapiling
Ang kanais nais kong kama

Ngunit bago sa pagalis
Ay may karamdamang
Hindi kakaiba
Hindi nakapagtataka

Ang pagtawag ng cervesa at tabako
Ng aking utak para sa aking katawan
Ay dumadagumgdong
Sa kaluluwa kong mahina

Isang bote isa pa isa pa
Isang kaha isa pa tama na
tuloy tuloy ang daloy ng alak
Sunod sunod Ang buka ng usok

Sa pagtulog ubos na ang pakiramdam
Ni-pandinig ay sumuko na.
Amoy na lang ng amats
Ano na ba anng kinahihinatnan

Isa

Dalawa

Tatlo

Hanggang sampu

Bilang sa aking kamay
Ang araw na Hindi ako lasing
Ang sigarilyong hindi naubos
At ang mga araw na humihinga pa ako

If there's one thing I want to do:
That is to break my sanity
To shatter my head, and say adieu
Before I give into vanity

I want to pass away
Shut down and break
For I always say:
Life isn't something I can take

Oh just shoot me now
Give me a bullet in the head
So to all I can vow:
I am truly dead

I'm filled with wrath
And, I can't see the right path

This demonic energy
Messing with my memory

Making me numb
Making me succumb
This fleeting power
From this foolish anger

Those lame excuses for people
Who destroys such a thing called "peaceful"
They make me puke
They make me rebuke

Yet I'm so tired
I can't do anything even if I desired
Ergo let me rest
For it would be the best

Little star, little star
You shine so well tonight
Twinkling calm and sweet
Oh such fine light

Little star, little star
Don't you ever sleep
Forever you should stay,
By my side, with wounds so deep

Little star, little star
Oh won't you stay?
Don't say goodnight please,
I want you everyday...

Date a girl who sings,
Who can give you a halo and wings,
Take you on a cruise
Without suffering a bruise

Give her a song as a gift,
And in turn, happiness is swift
Quicker even; on a star
Serenading her with your guitar

She may be gentle up or down
Not wanting both of you to frown
So sweet, simple, mellow and tender
I bet you'll give in and surrender

Just love a girl who'll accept a duet
And lastly before I forget
Love a girl who can carry a tune
For it's just like sitting on the moon

May I request a portrait of you?
Maybe dressed in cocktail blue?
How about in a cherry red?
Oh I'm sorry, am I too much of a dread?

It will be the best in my collection;
Along with my wonderful selection
Of candies and other sketches
That will tease my utmost senses

May I request you here?
I promise I won't hold you dear
Maybe if we'd just go out and eat,
My day will end up pretty neat

How about it?
Are you willing to submit?
For I want this friendship to renew.
So how about it? May I request a portrait of you?

Might I die? May I leave?
Might you see, there is a need
You see it's pointless to grieve
So stop your tears; think of it as a deed

May I sleep, in your arms?
A final moment we'd be together
Might you kiss me? Don't be alarmed
your memory will last forever

How I'll miss you, how you'll miss me
This is the way it's supposed to be
Dating back to 2009... One of my very first tries in poetry.

Silently staring into space
Glancing at that cold face

A face so pale, so dead
Lips won't smile, eyes red

Glaring at me with such cold
As if his own soul was sold

He lazily waved as I did
Oh what a simple way of being rid

Silently, I gain awesome fear
And daylight won't save me: it isn't as near

With each and every one of his snicker,
My fear becomes bigger.
How can I be so scared of the glimmer,
of a simple mirror?

My heart is for rent.
Holding a space for one.
And do not tell me that you can't

In here is home
Comfort and solace
Like tiny shells being washed by seafoam

It is a place for you
And you alone
The only acceptable who in this world of who's who

But maybe one is not enough
Oh my dear you are right
A space for another, no not a bluff

My heart is for rent.
It holds space now for two.
It holds one for you,
The other one for me.

Because it is cliche
How can you love another,
If you cannot love yourself.

I am yours and you are mine,
Come with me and we'll see the stars shine

We'll sail through seemingly endless dark
As we follow the song of the lark

You'll fly me there to the moon
As I sing for you; your favorite tune

We'll go through a day and then a night
Though we might pick up a petty fight

Then I'll go and start blaming you
And we'll think it's the end of us two...

But even so or even then
Our love is mightier than a pen
For I am yours and you are mine
Let our love be perfect and divine

Give me a sleepless night,
Headless horseman, evil knight
Let me regret closing my eyes
As everyone ceases to live and just dies

Drive me away from that ghastly face
Even let me end in the second place,
Because safety is ever so rare,
So much that this world becomes a nightmare

Please utter not a word
But please sing to me again

Let me stand again on my own feet
And while you take your grand encore,
Here I am begging for more!

Pie
I just don't like the crust
This is what you should trust
But I like it in peaches and cream
Otherwise, It'd make me scream

So just open your mouth
And don't be uncouth
Don't be rude
Just have a taste of this sweet food

So now take it, and don't deny
That this thing tastes good and isn't dry
And I have a feeling we'll see eye to eye
Once you taste this delectable and delicious pie.

How I love thee, thy Rain!
It takes away my toil and pain!

Woe be thy sun when there is rain,
For rain takes the sun's glowing sane
Woe be thy wind when stopping rain,
For it is not possible, it is in vain

How I love thee, thy rain!
Set me free from toil and pain!

Not long ago you were dancing

To the tunes of Paris, the songs of France
and the hymns of underworlds below
A heat. One which you've bellowed inside of I
to flames stoking to the sky

Now left with smolders and ashes
Now left with charcoal and darkness

Next you flew out like a phoenix /a bird/ from death
then a flower in the spring
then a mirror on the wall
and so so so so much more

Where are you now?
         A phoenix - a fantasy
Where are you?
         Not spring, but winter
Where
         The mirror. Is shattered

Today; and a few yesterdays ago
you return

but

I know you
You're no girl
  no woman
      no bird
         no bard
             no flower
                 no grave
                     no painting
                         no angel
                              no nothing

                                    no anything

You are /right now/
A spectre
    a ghost
        an apparition
Wailing through my very soul
            /a poltergeist/
Chilling my fractured person
My lost icon

Yes...

You haunt me

And like the thirsty ***** in the bowels of every woman and man
I beg you to once again

ravage me...

Over the ocean,
Through the sky,
See that blue bird,
Once again fly

Dancing with the wind,
together with his spouse;
A beautiful dove,
Forever in arouse

Then, spinning with the clouds,
A tornado brews!
Will they separate?
Will they lose?

Now out of the sea and sky,
Finding an escape,
Like being lost in a flame,
The two disappear, they lose their shape

Through the forests,
to a tree,
They seem trapped...
But they are free

En garde...

At the ready
at the command
unsheathe your blade
prepare where you stand

ahead of you is no man
ahead is fear, anxiety
impatience, dread
but play it right, ahead is victory

Etes-vous prets?

Now the blade is in view
its owner waiting for the foray
its steel waiting for your neck
its danger awaiting the melee

You feel the sweat on your brow,
Tension now reaching your nape
Your arms twitching and shaking
They are aggravated for their escape

Allez!

First there is quiet...
Then your arms bolt!
Your legs dart!
A clash of steel... and now the halt

Again at the ready
En garde...
Prets...
Allez!*

Threatening the enemy
with your edge like gunpoint...
A step... You pounce!
Connect... Point!

Oh September, September
Lovely day today aye?
As I remember...
It's today! Happy birthday!

But, year after year
I've never called anyone dear;
Year after year,
no comes near
Each year is dry,
Not one tear to cry
And; I wonder why...
Will it be this way 'till I die?

Ah September, September
Give me a smile
One that would last for a while
Ah September, Please let me remember,
that nineteenth day,
that I did my way.
Oh it's September: happy birthday!
At least for today...

She
Xilhouette Jan 2011
She
Start with a dream
Feel that esteem
End with a smile
You'll find it worthwhile

If she would give you a kiss
You'll end up in bliss
If you can just feel her
Never again shall it blur

Remember that yesterday
Remember the way she would sway
So romantic the way you dance
May you repeat if you had a chance?

She’s so lovely don’t you think?
Why, you won’t even waste time to blink
But alas night will fall
And you shall say goodbye to that doll

Now in leaving
Just keep believing
That she will come back
To complete what you lack

She will give back your love
And again, shall you soar to the skies above
This was one of my earlier works back then, so it may be a bit bad. But I think this deserves to be here. Xilhouette © 2011

Indeed in the end, you will see me cry
So I will say, I will not delay
But these people, just keep on passing by

Stars in passing, no God can defy
Get out of my way! For I will say:
Indeed in the end, you will see me cry

And to my enamor, who wishes to fly;
Go home if you may for I shall stay
But these people, just keep on passing by

Galaxies rupturing, way in the sky
Yet I say nay, to that inborn fray
Indeed in the end, you will see me cry

Finally to my heart, who shall deny
When the lights dim gray; pray, day by day
But these people, just keep on passing by

I in passing, only God can defy
Here, as I lay, I will always pray:
Indeed in the end, you will see me cry
But these people, just keep on passing by

Today the wind brought me
A leaf undoubtedly gloomy

I could tell that it had gone through many
For I seem to hear more than one story

It came off a grand oak,
Flew down the river for a soak

Flowing into the sea from the river;
From there the leaf started to shiver

Then a great wave started to amass,
Delivering the leaf to what seemed impasse

The wind swooped in and set him free:
His fate: to be burned slowly

The wind finally escaped
And eventually came to me misshaped

But even though his story was terrifying,
To the point where one would feel like dying,
I felt like taking the skies and flying
Just to avoid everyone's sighing

for I wish not to see;
see no light;
nor sky; nor the sea

Take my touch
for I wish not to hold you
nothing real; as such
Nothing, nothing at all but rue

Take my taste
Making kisses ever bland
Denying love for it's a waste
Denying 'till I fail to stand

Take what I own,
What I breathe and believe
Leave me here, sitting alone
So no one may see me grieve

I think he has done it all
To think he was ten feet tall
I guess one day he'd retire
To go home and play his lyre

To think an immortal can die
To think that the cold can cry
To think those who are above
Can learn how to love

I guess I was wrong
For all this long...

But when in doubt,
Or when I want to shout,
I always find it dandy
To go back to my candy

Mystic creature prowling the night
Gracefully dancing out the light
Slithering between lamps and posts
Mystic creature akin to ghosts

Wandering in, out, out and in
Lost it seems, looking for its kin
Out and about it sees a sign
Wandering creature sees: not one of mine

Fluttering from the south comes a crow
Saying: follow me, I know where to go
Excitedly, creature follows through
Oh what a sad creature, the crow left and flew...

Now back to the alley where this one began
This alley cat who got tired and ran

Alley cat, alley cat, you know where to stay
Here in the dark, where the other cats lay
Alley cat, alley cat, only to you I say:
I wish to be like you; I wish to know my way

Why are you exiled?
Did you take what is not yours?
Or have you had too much downpours?

Don't bother showing shame
For it is here you shall depart!

So tonight it's just me
and my guitar
I guess it's alright to be
Gazing on that star

But tonight I own it;
I have it for my own
The wonderful night: moonlit
And the day: bemoan

The stars they seem to blind
These eyes of mine; tired
My guitar? Not that unkind
My pen? Truly inspired

The night is all mine
But it's saying: "get out of my sight"
So I reply: "I'll wait for the sun to shine
so maybe for now, goodnight"

Shadows rain on this lonely evening
Netiher candles lit nor the street lights
Can break through this grasp of darkness

The leaves rustle through the wind
Cursing its cruel fate
Of hanging on in the darkness

Even the sweeter fruits take no mercy
And the fall and fall towards to the ground
To be trampled by the men who see only darkness

The branches on the trees however,
Are inviting; are inciting
Calling you up to their height
To hang by a rope in the darkness

And darkness tramples
Darkness mocks
Darkness dares
You to get out
Of its devilish grasp
Its fiendish grip

And the flickering candles
Beg you to go to the motion
No light can reach you: the candles say
There is nothing for you:
The mangled fruits say

And the shadows give ts embrace
It's time
Let's go away from this
Empty and lonely place
