Under the parabola of a ball,
a child turning into a man,
I looked into the air too long.
The ball fell in my hand, it sang
in the closed fist: Open Open
Behold a gift designed to ****.

Now in my dial of glass appears
the soldier who is going to die.
He smiles, and moves about in ways
his mother knows, habits of his.
The wires touch his face: I cry
NOW. Death, like a familiar, hears

And look, has made a man of dust
of a man of flesh. This sorcery
I do. Being ******, I am amused
to see the centre of love diffused
and the wave of love travel into vacancy.
How easy it is to make a ghost.

The weightless mosquito touches
her tiny shadow on the stone,
and with how like, how infinite
a lightness, man and shadow meet.
They fuse. A shadow is a man
when the mosquito death approaches

Me
Nothing
At all
This is what I
Am.
Life makes me
Infinitely small
Entirely aware that the
Monsters I have made
Are bigger than me.
Ravenous for nothing more
Intrinsic than an
Ear to decipher their
Lies and
Understand their cannibal
Screams as they are
Killed by one who knows them well
Killed by
Silence
Until they die and only I am
Left to say
Everything that was
Important to me before they
Ruined me. Destroyed
All of
Me. And in the
End maybe
I can
Let them go.
Although I love their loving infliction
They sadistically comfort me, without them I am
Alone, I
Need them and I don't want to escape.

It's funny.
the cold of the ocean spray seems
a soothing absolution
even after you've tried drowning
(nearly drowned)
washing ashore.
And lying there,
with fresh night sky above, eternal & steady,
even the salt seems sweet and the sand soft.
Each wet breath aches,
but you breathe anyway,
forcing down the good
you know fills the air.
And before you make your way
(back to the world,
your friends and family,
your responsibilities )
it is enough to lay
and count the stars
like blessings in your life.

Swirling colors without names and sounds
What is this madness that we have found?
Feet barely touching the sky and the ground
Looks like I'm Philosopher's ****** all around

See that great saucer up in the sky
Hear how it whirs like an insects sigh
Signal them down so they'll give us a ride
And we can all finally see what's inside

What do you hear by the full moon's light?
The chanting of shamans on the solstice night
Follow the drumming and join in their rite
I'd say it's our destiny, alright

We're now Eleusinian women and men
The greatest adventure's about to begin
The galaxy's huge, and we're off to the ends
But the path isn't up and away, it's within!

We pretend,
We do it all the time.

Happy, aren't We?
We laugh:
big teeth, tight smiles.

Alone, aren't we?
Huge crowds:
masses, claustrophobia.

But who knows the truth
Our truths

Wide eyes, white grin

think for a second

I've wore a hole in my mind from thinking

Happy, aren't We?
