My ancient cell phone died. Had to replace it with a smart-phone. Samsung Galaxy. No Choice. Smart-phone my *** nothing but a hassle since I got it. Phones should make phone calls. I don't want the weather in Ukraine. I don't want people texting me. (What the hell is texting? *** LOL. IMHO.) Don't want to play games or listen to music. Sure as hell don't want to watch movies. What kind of ***** watches movies on a phone? Ned Ludd where are you? Call me if your phone works. We need to make some plans.    ~mce

******* New Phone: A Lament
Am a Templar Knight whose allegiance is to Our Lord Jesus Christ Sir Thomas de Charney is my name, Master of the fortress in Gaza Was compelled to quill an account of an assault on the town of Ludd My heart was also dazed and enamored by a young woman evermore We left Gaza late in the day; I took 40 of my best knights with me Fully clad in mail and helmets, we dashed long swords in scabbards Short swords made at the ready to perlustrate with a days provisions We headed east prepared to do battle, for God and for the cause We approached Ludd; saw billowing smoke; heard strangled screams I dispatched 35 knights throughout the municipality in groups of 5 each My orders were; execute requisite to save townspeople from slaughter An appurtenance to the initial order: no parley with these infidels Before dismissing my men, I saw smolder swell left flank of the border Saw a hovel, the thatch was burning out of control and spreading apace Around the corner were three enemy soldiers crowding over someone Until the last few years, I knew not what **** was; the worst in a man Despite noise of city under siege, these ******** were intoxicated in sin The remaining five knights accompanied me and covered the perimeter I dismounted Petra, clutched the hilt of my long sword, made approach The three heathen sensed my bearing and turned to meet their death Then I saw her face and was transfixed I would yield no prisoners Today there would be justice for this woman I pray for swiftness of divine retribution ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To be continued………… ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Technology meant as tool, not lifestyle. Zombies walk. ROM wasn't built in a day. I tweet therefore I am. Change comes wicked fast. Computers becoming doorstops. Weeping tablets die barely born. Phones devour brains. My whole life is on my phone. Small life indeed. Friends redefined as virtual entities. Sit on my Facebook. AI will make *** safe, instant, anonymous and irrelevant. Gaming console warriors. ******* Know nothing of war. Search engines substitute for knowledge. Shallow. Mere flesh flees before silicon reality. Resistance futile. Pin all of this to your *** and see if you still bleed.   ~mce

Ned Ludd In Hell
Look-- You took a book, Filled the pages with your wages Of sixteen silver sages-- What does it mean to me? Fire prints, laundry lints, The phone call that made me fall. Walk down that hall where I feel so small. That tricksy pixie lightened, tightened The reigns in the rain I fell through a drain Wish I could go insane. Our feet in the mud, I watched Throne of Blood, The Fallen City of Ludd Come back to me Come Back To Me. I'm a hack a washed up sack On a beach I feel that leech Begin to teach me the meaning Of screaming Out my emotional, devotional Love for you. Please be happy, My thoughts are sappy. I lap the sap, feel like crap, Mazed in a trap, There's no going back. Forward..... Motion. My devotion like the ocean ends at the shore I am a ***** Difficult rhymes for difficult times Leaning on a crutch "The human mind can only stand so much" I would Do anything I could To make it good For us to be--like the sea-- Crashing Together Forever Whenever You wanted.
