I sit here alone and think about the past
Volunteering with you, we had a blast
Talking about life, you helped me grow
You were sad, you never let it show
My best friend and second mom you came to be
we talked about boys and what not to do
Any crisis you pulled me through
I wish would have repaid
I grew up and moved away
My heart breaking as I drove away
Time to start a new part of my life
Issy, you dealt with so much pain and strife
Fifteen years later I found you again
Picking up like old friends
Smiles comes to my face
Together again, we found our happy place
Then my heart sank one day
A message of a very sad day
You were sick in a very bad way
Prayers to you in heaven, no more pain
many thoughts of you still remain
I miss you Issy my friend

An ode to my beautiful wife
Who is really the love of my life
  In all of our years
  We've had so few tears
I can't even remember much strife

Now truly she doesn't like cricket
Or my nose, should I stupidly pick it
  And the money I spend
Drives her right round the bend
So my wallet, she's no choice but nick it

Yes, we have two kids and six cats
The latter delieverd two rats
  but the oddest thing
  They decided to bring
To our house were a couple of bats.

We were drinking and watching the telly
When Becksy cat did something smelly
  It happened we saw
  Her *** was rubbbed raw
And she needed pretroleum jelly.

When the time reaches much after nine
Unless we've been into the wine
  It's off to the bed
  For resting of head
Hey that's not your pillow, it's mine.

Our daughters are Issy and Jess
They turn cleanliness into a mess
  Whatever we do
  By quarter past two
We're under some strain and more stress.

We really do love our great daughters
For all of the things that they taught us
  And all of the grind
  Gets left well behind
When a hug is the best gift they brought us
..........
I think she'd had more than enough of my cricket crud.  This one came to me with a pleasing amount of ease.  However, I'm not entirely happy with the 5th verse.

Dil mera hadh main nhi
Tumpay he toh behaknay laga
Ulja saa tha,issy say pehle
Tumsay millkay toh sawaarnay laga
Hosh say zaida, khaboon mai rehnay laga
Har lamha tuj he pay, guzaarnay laga

Maan bhi lo  - pehchaan  lo  -iss dil ko toh ab jaan lo
Tere he hissa  hoon mai - batka hoon koi kinara toh do

Le chali oo naazni, dil mera kahaan le chali
khumar yeh nhi  koi , bas mai  nhi hai dewaangi

shammo shubha tujpay he luttey rahai
dil ki arizoo nigahoon say kehtey rahai
rahoon mai sang tere hum chalnay laga
bewaja yun .khamakha muskuranay laga

sansu mai ab,tu rehnay lage
zindagi ab tummay he zingdagi kehnay lage

ikraar hai -izhaar hai -mujpay tere chahat sawaar hai
utarta nhi -sambhalta nhi -mujpay tera nasha lazawaal hai

le chali oo bereham, karaar mera kahaan le chali
bebasi yeh koi nhi,bas main hi  hai awaargi
