Black.
Moms gave it to me
Bet if she knew
she would have never have bought it for me...
JC Penny's
Caught it on sale
just looking out for me
Mom's keeps it real
"this should keep my baby warm"
the thoughts in her head

Hoodie
Red,
Pop through out the air
"Baby, baby!!!"
Phone at my ear
"Run, Just Run"
Words I'll never hear
Mom so happy
cuz it started to rain
"he took his black hoodie
That should keep the rain out his face"

Hoodie
White,
Where Am I?
Your in a better place
what happen to my hoddie
You get a new one today...

Rest in Peace Trayvon

Images of black hair fills my mind as I poor a glass

You spoke in monotone as you said "sorry" as if your neck was numb.

So tonight I'm numbing the need for you with a shot

My hoddie smells of you so I'll take another

This taste like nail polish. Guess I'll take some more

Nothing is happening. Your lips are still a stain upon mine. Guess Ill take two

Remember the times I made you *** with your pants still on? I can't forget. You said you loved me afterwards

I feel alone, I thought you were here, so maybe I'll take 2 or 3

Why did you leave me? I never held back I gave you everything, every bit of me

Don't you try to take me back. As I remember you throw out broken things.

In the winter it's wet and dark.
This rain keeps up we'll need an ark.
Soon the puddles they turn to streams.
Not the type of weather for ice creams.

Wellies and hats is what we wear.
Jumping in puddles without a care.
The playground is all wet and muddy.
Glad I'm wearing my favourite hoddie.

Wind blows the leaves from the trees.
In some places they are upto our knees.
A plastic bag blows past onto a parked Mazda.
I recognise the brand it's from Asda.

The sun tries to poke through the clouds.
Come on sun do yourself proud.
But a big dark rain cloud moves in front.
All the kids give a dissatisfied grunt.

The wind picks up the cloud is thinning.
There's a chance the sun could be winning.
It tries to shine on our cold little faces.
Come on sun pretend your at the races.

At last the sun has broken through.
We knew you would,we stayed true.
So keeping on shining on oh so bright.
Because in a few hours it will be night.
