A beggar walks on down
Pushing a shopping cart,
***** bottles ready,
Gonna drink tonight,
And the lady on the street corner,
heavy makeup, tight clothes,
Has her sight
Set on the dark,
Peering into the void
Waiting for headlights to approach,
Gonna make some money tonight
While a man stumbles
Beneath the neon lights,
Shops of the seedy kind,
Pawned gold watch and all,
Gonna get high tonight,
Last call on that Saturday,
A nameless bar,
Two drunks whisper in
Each others ears:
“come with me honey,
For a hell of a time”

And she laughs
In drunken delight,
Gonna have some fun tonight,
A child awakes
In complete fright,
Monsters, ghosts, ****** knives,
Crying to his papa’s arms,
Gonna be a long night,
A lonely fellow
Stands on a stool,
Noose necklace ‘round his neck
Last few tears run,
Gonna be a short night,
Two young women
Head home in the dark,
Tailed by a mad cat,
Hidden face in black coat,
Gonna have a feast tonight,
Dogs bark somewhere far,
Active, excited,
While neighbors complain,
Gonna sing tonight,
A gang approaches
A coinless man,
lost all betting,
He owes ‘em money
And he’ll pay in broken teeth,
Gonna be a ****** night,
Taxi driver smokes
Another pack,
Desperate for cash,
More customers who'll buy,
Gonna be a late night,
The cars honk everywhere,
The lights
always on,
That city never seems to sleep,
Every night:
New scenes,
New people,
New victims,
New fools,
Everyone trapped,
An endless loop
Where insanity feels right.
I wrote this one like 2 years ago meant to be one of those poems that's read aloud. I don't know what they call 'em, performance poetry? Not sure. Anyways... here it is. I was just getting into certain authors and well... Yeah. Changing of styles a bit but I kinda like it.

You're alone again...
another daylight epiphany, detached, taxed, viewing traffic through the misty window
as the sun inflates and coffee warms
your gentle bones.
I'm in a rainbow hotel with a black cat, singing truisms
down the hallway when nobody is around
(and I can slam the doors OPEN AND CLOSED)
just to make it seem like there's more going on in here than there actually is.
Some would call that insanity, I don't know what I would call it.
You're a stranger again, slowly aligned by one's entire life to a
parking lot blacktop,
faces passing like curtains, and you're blue
I'm blue too.
I require an anthem to get myself up at sunrise,
I require a great staircase limelight triumph signaling the (future) snow-capped mountains
to watch my great decay.
Oh it continues and will never cease...
my matter recollecting into life and then death again.

The whole world is lonely,
ceasing it's communal conversation to heal by
fire flower bloomed
and the whistle of
a kettle hymnal
you're alive and for now everything is all right.
I understand..
I don't understand
.....
you can't expect me to know any better as someone
who's endured the last four years in a storage unit
fenced by archaic wigs
and cockroaches who throw model parties
in the overcast shadow I can't illuminate
as it is all darkness there.
I could listen to cars travel by the locked door
and I could see the faint glow of a headlight when the sun goes down but I lacked the strength to pull that door open or to leave.
The only thing allowing me to escape was companionship,
“Will your own reality”
there's some situations in life that are simply inevitable
such as love
and lacklove
the searing pain in one's gut when they recognize another night in solitary confinement (a punishment of circumstance)
Or an internal circus in witness of the amaranth figure standing by my doorway and it's incandescent approach
and you (I) don't even have to plead.
That black cat likes to hide up in the lobby chandelier purring thoughts
......
To itself?
or to nobody
to the cat it doesn't seem to matter.
I named it Franz
(guess why)

In public, I have found there's always qualities you can appreciate in someone's smile,
they have a way of seeming so distant and yet all part of the same face,
crying without shedding a tear,
whispering for help without saying a word,
ready and willing to try with one another.
But instead it's the songs on a bus or silence.
I decide which
and so do the other passengers.
(subjectivity)
Your voices are beautiful I wish
you could really understand that,
when I wade by in a night
enclosed to a single room
in a single house
on an island in
it's own wet corner of the world,
only music.

We are living in a dictatorship, a tyrant is at large.
The Aristocrats are clawing on to their wealth and privilage
Ebenezer Scrooge pales in all spectrum
The Peasants awakened in anguish, brews a tempestous whirlwind.
Torches brought to life,
roaring ******* flames of justice
Torture’s a friendly foe,
the time for lamenting has been extinguished.

Directing their stubby fingers, master of guile,
stroking their overgrown stomach
“Leech the Swines!
Bury their bodies, all but their sham crown
Garlands of heads, draped on my wall.”
A source of warmth for the winter’s plight, A trophy
triumphing the seeds of abeyance
Desolating fate is sealed by this stern decree.

Free hand-reading; not requiring an oracle.
“Am I not a benevolent King?”
**** out the roots.
One by one,
**** out the roots of evil.
For the root of all evil is good.

The peasants thin and scrawny.
Hunger, their morning advocate and evening lover-
Lusting to sink their teeth in to Pride.

The Nobel robed in mulberry silk
making love to a ******* pastry, birthed by a coinless *******.
Ascended into the abyssal inner circle of Hell

Those armoured with royal blood adorned in leather costumes
-vagrants cannot discriminate-
slaughtered while Mercy slumbers.
**** the aristocrats, for they are selfish!
The abolishment of poverty, the bane of the Monarchical eradication

A diabolical scheme!
Says the soulless estranged with peace.

When I was at the ripe age of 7 years old,
I grew accustomed to sleeping cold.
The feeling of numbness and it's pins.
I learned my hatred was rather intrinsic.

Don't bother fixing me, it's rather pointless,
A pencil with no point, a coin pouch coinless,
Just don't leave for I may just break,
And I'm rather terrified of the oceans wake,
with the raging sea and chomping sharks,
our power outages with lines aspark.

I've grown rather cold like winter nights,
Feverish children surviving for the fight.

My earrings rusting in my hand,
The Honduras president was arrested for ******* possesion.
Seek out your hands, a coinless negotiation.
Eyes around me too pretty to be open and shoned over,
Lighting up the lighter in my pocket, I'm so much older...
Than I have ever dreamed I'd be.
I have lived in cities never councious what a ******,
Of crows crowing under their breath another-
Day passes, I'm dead but never buried.
People watching keeping me starry eyed, a sonder of no pretenses-a kind of high-my
Bones have learnt the shape of suffering, they're left-
Bent yeatly, seems like I'm loving it.
Loving my veins being carresed through my skin and the ilussion of a dream-loving
Anything but me thinking smoking breathing in the will
To go on.
Alone, you're telling me I made myself alone,
to learn to love without being alone.
hahah...
they never end.
