Put your head down and werk. Put your feet up and twerk. Run quickly and watch the   pavement blur. Don't ask questions. Love you answers, and explanations, your valuations, and justifications. In the mood for pizza? Cause the shop's on your left. In 0.5 miles, it will be on your left. ON YOUR LEFT. YOUR DESTINATION IS ON THE LEFT. Rerouting... the protocol is exactly THIS, not THAT. So just do it. checkmark. Nike said so. Just buy it. we suggest it. Just try the Quesarilla #tacobell #mexicanfood #foodporn #pleasegetmemoreviews How bout a selfie where you look miserable and unhealthy. But you're a celebrity. Rub your likeness on me and I'll get you publicity. #fire #ice #rain What happened to real pain? And did dissonance disappear? Why must I hide my tears? And be bright and happy And ogle guys with fohawks trimmed so carefully. And live a lie, of numbers and rye bread is the worst, sandwiched in bursts. We all live and we all hurt and we all deserve a life like hers. who you say? Kim Kardashian, of course.

Artificiality.
3-2-2017 (unknown date of origin) Something's wrong... you don't belong here. I said, looking down at the pineapple on my pizza. I said, looking down at the ketchup on my macaroni. I said, looking down at the cream of mushroom soup on my meatloaf. He said, looking down at me and my boyfriend, holding hands in public. Like I'm a creep.  I'm a ****** What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here. You see there's these things that we learn at the dinner table. When we're kids we have certain items served to us on our plates. Whatever doesn't end up there, isn't a part of the discussion. After all, they say if you don't have a seat at the table, you are likely to be on the menu. So, when ****** orientation and gender identity aren't seated at the table of childhood, they get served for the first time in unexpected places.   Like an avante garde celebrity chef's designer meal, prepared for critiques by the food bloggers.   They get served in college classroom debates or in dorm rooms with freshman roommates.   They're on the menu in in some movies but served with a side of stereotypes and silly trope toppings.   They get grinded into glitter dust sprinkled on the annual PRIDE Parades like an overly salty seasoning mix.   They're on the menu in workplace diversity trainings, but too little too late - they get lost in the marginalized buffet.   They get served at the oppression Olympics, or actually at the Olympics unwillingly by a journalist who only pretends to eat a well-balanced diet, but really has LGBT food allergies,  if you know what I mean. In reality, these should be staple dishes consumed by commoners, consumed by you and me, consumed by children along with their healthy daily dose of broccoli and cauliflower, squash and zucchini, even eggplant.   They should be in every ******* cookbook with pictures and all different kinds of recipes! I want every child to have gay on their dinner plate, lesbian lunch, gender nonconforming on the brunch menu, and bisexual breakfast.   And everything in between in the queer spectrum served during snack breaks.   I want every child to look down at their plate and see pineapple pizza and say, gee that looks great!   I love all of the pizza toppings, no matter whether gay or nay. ... except for anchovies, of course.

From the BBC today, Excerpt Why does Taylor Swift write so many one-note melodies? "It's easy to get distracted by her celebrity, but Taylor Swift is a once-in-a-generation songwriter. From the very beginning, she's displayed a knack for melody and storytelling that most artists never master. Take, for example, her first US number one, OUR SONG Written for a high school talent show, it's a fairly typical tale of teenage romance until the final lines: "I grabbed a pen / And an old napkin / And I wrote down our song." That's smart, self-assured songwriting for someone who wasn't old enough to vote. Notably, the lyrics insert the musician directly into the narrative - something she developed into a tried and tested trope. But Our Song also establishes another of Taylor's trademarks: The one-note melody. Excerpt Repetitive melodies that centre around a single note are part of that appeal. They emphasise her relatability by mimicking the cadence of speech. "They emphasise her relatability by mimicking the cadence of speech." "They emphasise her relatability by mimicking the cadence of speech." "They emphasise her relatability by mimicking the cadence of speech." Rebuttal Rhyme sells because the people you are selling too can remember your lyrics. They can relate to your song but if they cannot sing it themselves putting themselves in the 'first-person perspective narrative' they cannot feel as-if they have BECOME the artist and are living that moment as they remember it. Taylor Swift sings about teenage love and angst something EVERYONE ON EARTH understands. ALL POETRY BEGAN AS RHYME IN SONG. Cadences are singing statements that confer a discipline and unity. Song acts as a catharsis. The artist shares their pain in a way that is universally understood. If you want to sell a rock, literally a pebble, you will not sell it if it doesn't look like a rock. If it doesn't do what rocks do. If it is not what people remember a rock to be like. Nor will it sell if it is just like every other rock they have ever seen. It cannot convey an emotion unless it elicits emotion. One cannot even begin to feel emotional if one cannot remember easily the past and that includes lyrics one has heard that evoked said emotional state. It is horrifying to see HOW BADLY EVERYONE INSISTS that rhyme be obliterated in exchange for an intellectual or individual perspective NOT SHARED BY THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE. If you want to sell and make money you better start thinking about the 99% of people who are not geniuses. If your sole goal in life is to attract a genius to give you a great job because of how, "smart," they perceive you to be then fine. You are not an artist. You are an employee. Society is so focused on being flawless. Perfect. No one is flawless, not even Beyonce. We will forget who we are on the inside, and soon that won’t even matter because the physical appearance is the main priority. Women these days are spending so much effort trying to look perfect, which hurts. Pretty hurts. Society is expecting women to look perfect, otherwise people will judge. ‘Perfection is a disease of a nation’. The showbiz industry is giving a negative message to the world. Photoshop is one of them. Making a celebrity look flawless is fooling the world into thinking we must look like that. Spending so much money on clothes, hair etc. but we don’t need to focus on that because all that matters is on the inside, which most people don’t seem to see anymore. We are constantly getting the messages in our mind that we must be flawless, and sooner or later, this is a disease. Some of us can’t take it anymore, which leads to anorexia, bulimia, insecurities, and issues with body image. Pain also takes over our minds, which is ridiculous. Even celebrities have gone through this because in our naïve little minds, we are thinking we have to be pretty. There is so much pressure it takes over our minds, and that’s the only thing we think about. We look into the mirror despising ourselves, because we are who we are. Society has created us into thinking there’s a certain way we must look, which there is not. Our flaws make us who we are, makes us positively different. Unique. But we aren’t allowed to think that way because the media isn’t allowing us to. When people change, they are only cheating on themselves because media displays images of what we should and shouldn’t look like. It’s not their fault though. They can’t help it. Changing, like getting botox or body implant is only giving us a masquerade. It’s a mask to hide our real, inner beauty, which the media has taken the idea away from us, to become people who we actually aren’t. And in the end, we know that pretty hurts. a.a.

1 The other day I saw a picture of you. Shirt buttoned up to your throat, Pants cutting off the blood circulation in your pelvis, Shoes shining brighter than the north star, And a smile being pulled across your cheeks Like an archer pulling a bow string. I smiled back at my computer screen. 2 I’ve listened to this album at least 30 times. I own three versions of it. UK deluxe, US deluxe, Target Deluxe. Everything about you is deluxe. Your eyes, your voice, your breath As it passes through the microphone and into my ears. 3 I believe in fate But not so much in destiny. I don’t scream at my reflection anymore And I’m described as independent. For the most part. I’m a pretty trustworthy person And I promise I’m not that desperate. 4 The music ripples through my veins As I whip my curls at the mirror. The hairbrush pressed against my mouth And I repeat the lyrics that roll past your lips so smoothly. 5 I can almost feel your arms Wrap around my waist before I go to sleep. I had a dream You and I were together And you were happy And I was happy And everyone was happy. But I know if my dream became reality No one would be happy. Jealousy would taint the spit on other girls’ tongues And the distance between New Jersey and Australia is too much. Even for me. 5 I can almost feel your arms Wrap around my waist before I got to sleep. 5 I can almost feel you. 5 We have the same eye color. 6 We have the same hair color. 7 I am just an insecure girl. You are taking over the world. You are stepping in the soil of every state. And you won’t look at me Longer for three seconds in the New York City heat. 8 I never thought I would be one of those girls. One of those girls Who latch onto a boy’s identity, Not knowing his soul But knowing his spirit. I’ve seen you three times. You don’t even realize. I try too hard and I’m convinced you notice this. 9 You are nine months older than me. In your eyes I am just a baby. My cocoon of pictures of you is the womb I am being baked in. You won’t follow me back on twitter. 10 You are just my celebrity crush But you have such an impact on me. Go back home. Let me rest. Go back to bed. I’ll have that dream again And I won’t speak of it And no one has to know of this Pathetic excuse for love I carry in me like a dead fetus. 10 You are just my celebrity crush. It was never supposed to go this far. 10 You are just my celebrity crush. 10 You can never love me The same way I love you.

"*You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and ***** Comet and cupid and Donner and Blitzen, But do you recall? The most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Has a very shiny nose And if you ever saw it You would even say it glows. **All of the other reindeers Used to laugh and call him names They never let poor Rudolph Join in any reindeer games** Then one foggy Christmas Eve, **Santa came to say, Rudolph with your nose so bright, Won't you guide my sleigh tonight? Then all the reindeers loved him, And they all shouted out with glee, Rudolph the red-nose Reindeer You'll go down in history!***" Why is it that just because he was asked for help by a celebrity (Santa) and became associated with this celebrity, all the other reindeer all of a sudden love him? Doesn't that mean that the reindeers only love him because he is now a celebrity and not him as a reindeer?

When we fell asleep video chatting every night for a month When I cried because you were the first person to make me feel like I wasn’t alone When you excitedly told me about kissing a girl in a cemetery When you sent me videos of your dirt bike When we went cruising and listened to songs from our favourite band When you tried to teach me how to game When you told me everything you love about your girlfriend When you talked about engines and cars with me even though I didn’t understand When you saw I was feeling bad even at the one place I’m always happy When you didn’t ask questions when I asked you to get rid of my razors, but instead told me how proud you were When you held me as I cried, knowing I hate crying in front of people When you let me fall asleep holding you even though I was cold and wet When you held my hand when we woke up on the day when everyone had to leave When you let me hug you a hundred times because you knew how much I’d miss you When you gave me closeness and friendship and love unlike anything I’d ever known before When we sat in my porch for 3 hours after fireworks were shot at people during a party, so you could make sure I was okay When you let me cuddle you even though your friends would give you a hard time When you told me you’d help me out if anyone ever hurt me When you took a selfie with me When you carried me everywhere *** I was tired When you held my hand going down a steep trail because I couldn’t see and you knew I was scared When you brought me extra food because you knew I skipped lunch When you were protective over who I was friends with When I came over to your house for the first time and we made pizza, gamed, and hung out with your family When you had you first kiss with me When you always showed you were protective of me and became the big brother I never had When you told me you were bi on the first day we met When you told me that only people you know well or that you like get to know you’re bi When you cried and told me all your favourite facts and memories of a friend who had betrayed you When you told me I had a cute nose When you fell asleep holding my hand When we hugged eachother after not seeing eachother for a year When we kissed for the first time When we kissed more When you were my date When you told me I was the only non-celebrity you’d go gay for When we danced together When we agreed to have an annual one week relationship When you were the first girl I loved When I met these people I never thought we’d get to the point were at now. I doubt I’ve effected their lives as much as they’ve effected mine but it doesn’t even really matter because I have them and that’s all that matters to me

When you get nostalgia For previous episodes, books, volumes, or songs When you understand the world better By comparing it to a million fictional ones When you obsessively hit the reset button on YouTube Waiting for the next episode or song to come out When you have tons of fictional or celebrity crushes But don't like anyone in your school When you understand the characters Better than the people around you That's when you know you're a fangirl

You Know You're A Fangirl
I stroke your skin like a leaf and hold it up to the light, allowing fingertips            to go slow from root to tip.            to sew the lining where two unlike materials meet.            to code this friction into tactile intuition... And yet--                                                       I am afraid. With this and all acts of temptress divination.                                                 I, I...am afraid. I want to read our intersection. I want             to see               in your life-line.                         myself. First, I will find the highways of your pulse- watch as they                            give way to country roads. Dissecting life-ways into bi-ways where I can go slow from root                         to                             tip.                                 rise Feel the land                                                        and fall. from grass to hallowed knoll- Throw me dirt and blow out your windows.                             Take me slow down the side roads. Next, I consult the creases of your open fist. Gone are the fine blue lines                                                          -the tomographic Heat, and its rhizomatic                                              beat. Instead, you hold me in this underpass [the clamminess and opposite-land of passion and speed]                                           where                              [shadows cling and relationships keep]. You hold my hand. To leave, and blast!                                                  - to stay, I will need a map. Hide me here long enough to find beauty in the fine etched lines that paint the walls in broad swoops of graffiti: those cryptic tag-lines that advertise your witty, poetic celebrity. from finger to wrist                    arc              the      to the thumb the pulse that could run on and on. [our] distant reflection                             -a mirage in the rising sun. where the earth line cuts off the air line to fuse the heart-              and the head                                                                                 -line.

How to Dissect a Love-line
I stroke your skin like a leaf and hold it up to the light, allowing fingertips            to go slow from root to tip.            to sew the lining where two unlike materials meet.            to code this friction into tactile intuition... And yet--                                                       I am afraid. With this and all acts of temptress divination.                                                 I, I...am afraid. it's almost two in the morning. i toss and turn, roll around-- nothing. sighing, i sit up, and think to myself, "This hasn't happened in a while." my mind automatically goes back to that time, when i was younger, and our family went to the capital. slept in some fancy hotel with some fancy people with their fancy clothes. on the second night we stayed there, i couldn't get a wink of sleep. i don't know whether if it was because of exhaustion or something else. naturally, the next morning was hell. i was pissy and bored as we waited for father in the lobby. i couldn't take a nap in public because, well, i had my pride, of course! chewing a gum quite aggressively, i observed my surroundings. my gaze hopped from one person to another. a royal from a country i haven't even heard of. an important figure in politics. a celebrity. a kid. white blonde hair? i haven't seen hair of that shade. it was quite unnatural here. i whipped my head to the left and saw two beautiful people. the taller was around my age. he had the same mop of hair as the kid i saw (the shorter). the child, on the other hand, was most probably no older than six. they were both awesome. the light glowed on their figures, and it looked like they were godsend. i haven't seen anything more beautiful. and who knew that who knows how many years later, i would find myself looking back on that vivid memory. as if it had happened yesterday. (i feel like i'm still stuck in that time.)

everyone wants to be an architect. everyone wants to be a doctor. everyone wants to be a celebrity. everyone wants to be an author. everyone wants to be a scientist. everyone wants to be a rock star. everyone wants to be a professional football player. everyone wants to be a photographer. everyone wants to be an artist. everyone wants to be a news reporter. everyone wants to be a lawyer. everyone wants to be the president. everyone wants to be a professor. everyone wants to be a pilot. everyone wants to be an actor. everyone wants to be a therapist. everyone wants to be a business owner. everyone wants to be an interior designer. everyone wants to be a pastor. everyone wants to be a magician. everyone wants to be a dentist. everyone wants to be a chef. everyone wants to be a film director. everyone wants to be something. everyone wants to be someone. nobody wants to be something they don’t want to be. but nobody wants to do anything to be who they want to be. you have a goal. you have a dream. who said dreams can’t be achieved? nobody. one of the greatest and most powerful feelings is accomplishing something you once thought to be impossible. maybe your goal is in fact impossible. maybe there’s no way in hell that you can be who you want to be. maybe it is a dream. maybe it is a fantasy. so what do you do? you do the impossible. make it rain. there’s somebody that you love. somebody who’s smile makes your day. somebody who makes your week when you make them laugh. somebody you wish you knew better. somebody who could fix every bad feeling you have in your life just by you being with them. and they don’t recognize what you would do for them. how much you would love and take care of them. how do you make somebody notice something that they can’t see? you do the impossible. make it rain. there’s a way to do everything. you just have to find it. the answer won’t just appear over night. you have to fall into your fantasy. walk into your dream, rip it out of your head, and make it the reality. and never give up. nothing is impossible. everyone wants to be loved. everyone wants to be remembered. everyone wants to graduate. everyone wants to talk to god. everyone wants to climb a mountain. everyone wants to get their driver’s license. everyone wants to get a job. everyone wants to get her attention. everyone wants to be his girl. everyone wants to learn an instrument. everyone wants to make more money. everyone wants to never stop smiling. everyone wants to win the lottery. everyone wants to score the winning point. everyone wants to be a superhero. everyone wants to grow taller. everyone wants to be able to walk again. everyone wants to be able to see. everyone wants to be able to hear. everyone wants to have a home. everyone wants to bring him back to life. everyone wants to have a shirt to wear in the winter. everyone wants a family for christmas. everyone wants a best friend. everyone wants one friend. everyone wants to take the gun from his head. everyone wants to save the world. everyone wants to feed them all. everyone wants to build them a home. everyone wants to get rid of her cancer. everyone wants to bring their soldier home. everyone wants to stop racism. everyone wants to be gay without being judged. everyone wants to feel safe. everyone wants to turn their life around. everyone wants to… make it rain, mr. architect.

Sara L Russell, 15th January 2016, 00:04 ------------------------------------------------------------------- So yeah this is me and Julie outside H&M;… trying too hard to look **** Desperate tarts more like. We went to Starbucks after that, then the pub, and then… the rest of the afternoon's a blur. Haha. ----------✿----------- Oh yes and this one's me with Foo Foo, stupid cat's sitting on top of my presentation. She can be useless at times but she makes a good hot water bottle when it's like, really cold? You know? Cats are great for that. Dead sympathetic too. Good listeners. ----------✿----------- Oh now this is a good one. This is me with that **** actor off I'm a Celebrity. He was in… actually I can't remember what he was in? Really like, **** though? Yet I've only seen him on I'm a Celebrity? Anyway he was cool with stopping for a selfie. God love him. (Whoever he is). ----------✿----------- Ahh… this one is me with Julie again. She's such a ****** She's got one of those light up Santa hats on. Daft ***** Never did get one for me. Not that I'd wear one. I prefer those furry reindeer antlers. See? There's one of me with antlers on. ----------✿----------- Oh here's one of me and Mum. Yeah very sad I know. She tries so hard to be cool, bless her. Embarrassing really. I gave her my old phone and she still hasn't worked out how to use it. Takes loads of photos of herself though. So sad.

When the Stars Come Out to Play
whenever i go online shopping, no matter if it's high end, low end, or in between, i would always sort the items from low to high. not only because it's a safe way to shop and that it makes me look like i take budgeting seriously, but that's the only thing i can afford. talk about me, a high middle class kid that tries DESPERATELY to not spend so much on the things he wants rather than the things he needs while still unemployed and in college as well as getting many allowances from his parents. you are COMPLETELY allowed to say that i am spoiled, i understand and am aware of that. as i scroll down and observe the price tags slowly rising up, $10, $15, $29.99, $49.99, $79.99, until it hits $3,000, i not only thought, "how do you think that it was a good idea to make that simple, plain jacket in such a high price?" but i also had to admit that i really did wanted that jacket since i thought it looked cute. the problem with that is: most of the stuff i wish i have in my wardrobe, they would all usually be so expensive, especially since most of the stuff i want to have is from high end streetwear brands. i would see almost every celebrity wear my future wardrobe, all looking so confident, trendy, iconic, stylish. oh, how i wish to be like them, sometimes. how i wish to be rich. how i wish to not worry about saving money. how i wish to just show off iconic outfits from amazing high end brands. how i wish to have what i always wanted. i know i should be content with what i have. i mean there always will be other solutions to wear something inspired by designer clothes i've dreamed to have. but **** would i look good in that $3,000 jacket.
