I know that Vietnam
Changed the man he was to become

I tried some new Salt water/ Sea Mineral conditioner today
It's aroma popped out a joyous memory
In my brain that dwells there to stay
Taking a shower at Grandmas trailer
After a day of play
Washing the sand off from the Outer Banks
Stuck to my legs, like it stuck to my memory
The sand wanted to stay
I don't know how good the conditioner is for my hair
It's sold to me because it's scent transports my mind
Back to a time of Peace

Again they baffled me with wisdom in what they say

Yet, when it comes time to pray
They all know just how and what to say
When I'm feeling lost and all alone
They grab my heart and lead me home
They point it out so loud and clear
All the material value we get lost with in this world is not so dear
The time we have in this world is just a snap
Then were gone
So LEARN the LESSONS and move along
Love one another, you see, they tell me,
Will carry you on into Eternity.

Hide from the world

So we don't spread the flu
To one another
Watch out for earthquakes
Can't hide from nature

Human knowledge may have turned

Pray death will bring

Next time someone shares trouble of their soul with you
Do not hinder, just listen to their words
A smile, a hug or perhaps a tear or two
You may be shocked to see
The light that you ignite within their eyes
The joy within their soul

Family is what we all dream to be
We may not want to admit it is actuality

Jealousy is so very sad to me
It is a form of inadequacy
When someone makes fun of what others have overcome
Or they resign another's accomplishments of time
They are really beating at their own soul
Giving inadequacy all control
So next time you feel jealousy take control of your heart

I've got a new best friend
Evidently she lived a life of sin
I wrote a poem of a former venture she was on
It turned into her first day at the nursing home

Today she was sad and lost
She had misplaced her purse
Let go of her life at such a cost

She was wandering round
Asking the nurses and administrators for help
In a state of panic, searching for the lost-n-found.

I took her to the cafeteria

Where we were doing crafts
Hoping I could change the channel of her mind
Panic would pass

She told me of the hardships she has lived thru
How she resided in her car for years
Now it was wrecked and she had
No one to live with she knew

She told me her plan was to leave this hotel
Right before dark
Sneak back in and sleep in a closet
As quiet as a lark

I told her I happen to know
The manager of this hotel
They'll give you a room if
You'll be part of the show

You should have seen the smile on her face
Oh Yes, she is
A woman of grace

She told me Thanks
My name is June
I told her she is my new best friend
I will come see you soon
Then I wheeled her in chair to her room

Flows from the heart

Some do not grasp the

They do not trust Jesus
Enough to give Him all control

Jesus always has

Ask for forgivness and then let go

The Holy Spirit entered my soul

Wellness has come upon me
A blessing the way I see

Father God His praise

Realization through prayer

The Holy Spirit

My pain changes from lamentation

It is amazing to me how
This victory of realization
Brings peace within
I ask the Lord to guide me

The leaves on the trees are changing colors
Shades of red, yellow, purple, and brown
Soon they will begin to flutter to the ground
Our Fathers magic is upon us again
With the season change comes twisting wind
Freedom flutters just like the leaves
De-stressing our hearts to the state of tranquility
Making us thankful for what we have grown to be
Autumn is the Lords well needed season
To calm our souls
Move us forward with reason
