AWAKENING
A light has clicked on inside of me
I have come to a realization, Basically through
Love, discipline, and acceptance of responsibility
I can overcome any obstacle
Achieve any goal desired by me

This Love I speak of
Consist of nurturing others spiritual growth
With anticipation that our world will broaden with Hope

Discipline is a bit more complicated as a gain
Laziness and fear have become our #1 enemy
A plague for society to maintain
With this force as strong as gravity
Pulling at our limbs
It draws us, it pulls us, it makes things look so easy
And it sets on a track to sin

If I could Just accept responsibility
Not blame others for sour grapes fed to me
Ahh, It's the ultimate beauty
I think I see with this realization
A new life has opened for me

A life enriched with love
A closeness to God with intensity
That enables me to recognize the Grace
Belief has given me.

Stickie vision
I cannot see
Recalled eye drops
Sold to me
Or is this just
The winter eye blues
Maybe I should
Not watch the news
Perhaps it is just a stage
Waking up with puffy eyes
Each morning is part of old age, yea!!

Miracles appeared
When I died
I let the
Blood of Jesus
Run through my veins
Now I do more
In my life than just maintain
I live in the blood of Jesus

Things are not the way
They used to be
Every new day a test
Leading up to what
Is next to see
So I pledge to press on
My daily quest
To do my best
Regardless of
What other's expect
From me
I know my Father
Has the plan
That has always
Been meant to be

Cool morning finally
Autumn wind in brisking
When I close my eyes
I hear waves breaking
My imagination overtaking
Walking the coast along the sea
The squawking of the city birds
In my mind turn into the sea gulls
They whistled, they squealed, they barked, they bleated, they gargled
Opening my eyes all I see is fallen leaves
Here I am back in Texas
My back yard, my reality
Autumn morning
Brisking leaves°🍂

Innocence in her eyes
Graciousness of heart
Deep inside no surprise
Her era of time
Full of love, despite
All strife she will rise above
With delight for life
Which does not part
She understands
Life itself is art

Where ever I look, Father
I see you
In the vision of nature
Your love shines through
In my Mother's voice

A vision of assurance
In a pair of doves
At the end of the day

Everything in life is
Ruled by time
From the moment we are born
Till the moment we die
Time keeps ticking
It get's no pleasure
From our presence
NO MATTER
How hard we try
TIME KEEPS TICKING
It may be described
"A superior substance"
Inspiring grandeur excellence
Constantly ticking time
Elevated to nobility
Perhaps sublime
Yet, the day your time is up
Hearts break
TIME KEEPS ON FLYING

Judgements cast upon my soul
By others who do not comprehend
What they can not fathom
Bless their hearts they justify
knowing best for matters of
What they cannot control
Never understanding
I have given my faith to God
He has complete control
They do not see my decisions
As tangible worthy goals
Definition of faith
shapes into reality, as it should
God uses my life to guide others along
When I am weak He carries me
Till I become strong
God is my guide in life
Praying and following His plan
For me can do no wrong

What age would you pick if you could be young again
Would it it be the age that you met your very best friend
Or maybe the age of the first love of your life
What about the age when you learned how to swim 🏊‍♂️
Elementary school age opened the mind, spelling test on Friday
When responsibility was seen as just a vocabulary word on our weekly list of words was sublime
Days before monthly bills exisisted, long before electronic technology and strife
If you could be young again
What age would you choose if you could pick one for your life?

Pain conquering
I have found truth in the Holy Spirit's presence within me
God's way of saying I am just another step along a journey He has set fourth in me
A lesson of Faith I am forever being tested to create
His strength, to endure a never-ending journey
A realization I now can see
His route to use me to guide others down His path of glory
Faith building as I travel along
Pain set as a reminder that I am strong
As long as I trust in my Father above
Sharing knowledge of the glory
Of His everlasting love

I am the outcast of society
In reality I am
The soul who
Has been set free
They put me down
They shut me out
My only dream is
That the world
Could only fathom
The jest of what

Strolling through the forest all alone
Gazing at natures wonders
Churning notions in her mind so strong
Out of her hipster pocket

Splitting it open

Magical velveteen love seat
There she plops to imagine

Round above to see
