Many times when I write poetry
The Holy Spirit takes hold of me
I come up with my own ideas
His light then shines bright
Inside my mind
Opening me to subjects
My brain would never find
Concepts so many say
Are taboo
Come flowing through
Senses I do not normally use
I wish I could explain
In layman's terms
Yet, I cannot find
Descriptive wordly yearns
Of how these heartfelt
Ideas do burn
Except for to say
Father God will always
Carry out His way

Overtaketh thee

For life is but

Sea of the Parthenon

Marble made of seagulls’ wings, set in flight,
Their beaks foam and crest and rise for air,
In headwinds and feathered drag, upward lift,
Carve out fluted columns by tunneling vortex,
Beams of bluebirds made from cross-sky stitch,
Parthenon of flying tides and nested Acropolis,
Endless fossilized sigh of Saronic Gulf sea-winds.

WHAT TO READ TODAY

When the world gets overwhelming
You don't know what to say
Open up your Bible
Read Psalm scriptures
The Spirit will guide you
Then to pray
With greater understanding
As to what He needs from you today
He will lead you down a path
Of peace and strengthen your
Faith to guide you not to stray

The floral meaning of a dandelion

To a loved one that is quite divine
Happiness that will last even after

As I am growing older
I am starting to see
I am not the girl
I used to be
Some traits of hers
I recognize
Some I know
Were her disguise
She thought she knew
Who she was then
Little did she know
For she is ever forming
One in Him

As women
We have special talents
When the time comes
When we realize
Heaven awaits
We give our talent
To another
Soul
If our talent is
Wisdom you see
It opens the door
For things to be
If our talent is love
Kindness opens a heart
And a mind
Revealing The Truth of
Our Father above
