I am the sun
And you are the moon
Two soft figures
Set high in the sky.

As I rise
You slowly set
Slightly passing by
One another
In the delicate sky.

When our pathways did cross
Our clashing worlds
Would collide
Leaving only dust
Scattered across the galaxy.

The meteors we would create
Left an earth-shattering explosion.

Leaving no being
Untouched.

(I) led
Myself to believe
That you were (lost) and confused
When you left me
I told (myself) not to care
As i knew for a fact you didn't either
But (in)
(Your) heart you knew
The real reason
Why you couldn't stay
And that's why you were afraid
Of allowing our (eyes) to interlock.

Her heart has been played
Like a pair of old strings
And in her cold eyes
The sadness stings
For she was destined
For better things.

You are the cigarette
I have every morning
The taste still lingering on my lips.

Just like the cigarette you hurt me slowly
Corrupting my lungs
And blackening my throat.

But you are worse than a cigarette
Because they only **** me if i light them
Where as you,
Rot the air in my lungs
And steal my oxygen.

Whenever
You speak.

Two paths endlessly woven together
Connected by the distant frozen leaves
Numbed by the earths breath.

Two eager beings
Rubbing their palms together
To block out winters chill.

Two trees embracing each other's touch
Huddled together
Devouring the warmth.

Two birds
Still and statued
Holding one another's gaze.

Two beings endlessly woven together
Embracing each other's touch
Devouring one another's gaze.
I actually quite like this poem of mine, enjoy.

“Do you love me” she sighed trying to catch his gaze. He looked up frozen like the frosted winter leaves, unable to catch his breath in the icy air. For the first time in his life he had been breathless, she captured every gasp in the back of his throat that soon turned to sand. His hands turned numb and lifeless, her hair still twisted around his nimble fingers. She could sense his sheepish nature and wary presence. With her hair still tickling his fingers he finally had the courage to look her in the eye. This moment had not turned out like he planned. He turned his head away from the flowing river. Falling straight into her ocean blue eyes he allowed himself to swim in them. “I have never stopped”
