When I have my music feel so very light and free
Worry or its cousin trouble can't get a hold on me
Nodding my head to the funky beat sadness will have to excuse
My ignoring you while I jam and tap my feet
Music is around the world and its signiture is everywhere
Saw an old man with blue headphones on lost to the music
Getting down in a rolling wheelchair
Youth rapping on the street with earbuds  alone they don't really care
I close my eyes and I think I can hear notes floating everywhere

I love you far beyond myself until the last sand of time is gone
Daily my contract of faithfulness is renewed
Along with my compassionate love for you which is not
An indulgence. Hold me close within the heart
When weariness overtakes you rest upon my shoulder
As my head later would rest upon the pillow of your breast
Who could love you more than I? Let me catch those falling tears
In the cups of these two hands

She had a face that looked wrinkled by old age and poverty
In a red coat as footsteps took her slowly to a seat
On the north bound trolley the sun wasn't even warm
That  OCTOBER day as i glanced down at her old worn sneakers
With red socks it seemed time like the train had passed her

I confess that it was love from the start
Now that you're gone forever from my life
What do I tell my heart?what do I tell it with each lonely beat in the night? and during the daylight there is just no peace
Tears flood from my eyes when out in the street trying
To hold back each sob from inside this sadness
I can no longer hide. Its been said in life that what will be will be
But why did this terrible thing have to happen to me?

I was born in a time when life made more sense
People were not worried how they would pay the rent
We expected change of our elected ones
But not much change did come
I was born not far from a river one running wild and free
Keep wondering why certain dreams inside keep dying on me
We expected change of our elected ones
But change did not surely come
I see people go to the movies whenever in town
But if you don't have any money they won't let you hang around
When my needy hand is out to someone
Passing on the street heads remain with eyes ahead
They want you to fall down on your knees
Living is sometimes  not easy and lack makes a grown man cry
Guess I'll have the final answer to all my questions
In that bright city in the sky

A woman who is equal parts playful and pensive
Always romantic and loving filled with vibrancy and casual cool
In a moody changing World.

My eyes take in your unparalled verdant beauty
which truly forms a refined vision of quiet style and grace
With simplicity in natural born richness .Love flowing so fully
Makes a man never want to get your love or refined vision
Out of his system just when I thought love was a closed chapter
Your refined vision stepped in
