I never believed in fairy tales
I thought love was a joke,
Commitment was a lie.
People change while the world keeps spinning
I learned this in a way I never imagined
You changed my world
Made me realize things I never thought possible
I'm not trying to write another fairy tale,
I know they aren't true
Take a look around you
Homeless and starving people at every corner
Cancer taking lives of people
People killing other people
Obviously humanity is super ****** up
I'm ****** up myself
Every one who reads this is ****** up in their own ways
Yet, I feel a little less crazy when I'm with you
You understand that humanity isn't very human
You see through the darkness
You see the madness.
