When I was young
I saw
I smelled
I tasted
I touched
Felt
And heard

I truly lived

                                    I saw
                                    My grandma Francis
                                    Fallen bridge, and
                                    Bright green, wonderful trees

                                    I smelled
                                    Sweet Jell-O cookies
                                    Vanilla, and
                                    Fresh, Crisp laundry

                                    I tasted
                                    Horse treats
                                    Coarse dirt, and
                                    Spinach

                                    I felt
                                    Excitement
                                    My dog, and the
                                    Cool, soaking rain

                                     I heard
                                     Days of the New
                                     Nirvana,
                                     And Rage Against the Machine

I continue to truly live

Slide your hand
down my back
your fingertips
are bound to crack
the code my skin
presents to you
I feel as though I fall for you.

snap

And it's all gone
My mind is taking
Over now
This horrible place
Holds me still
Captive in here
Beyond my will

but your love remains strong
and you don't let go
and I grab the rope
you've throw down this well
and it's a hard climb up
but it's worth the work

You'll never know how much you're worth

Sailing back,
with your love in my eyes,
in the mornihg light
out of the chaos,
i came in a place of my own....

I’ve realize that these memories shall never leave me.

They have left a permanent imprint on my soul.

Like perpetual scars,

Spiraling so dizzily around my body.

And I wonder how long they will last,

Or If I’ll ever be pleased at my reflection.

They exist among all of you too.

With your stories,

That could carve novels into your skin.

And I mourn for you,

And for this world.

I morn for us.

And we always knew it would be this way,

As the multitudes of tears that I shed,

Create pools around my ankles.

I think about the lost potential.

Regretfully the water is rising,

And I sink into your gorgeous eyes.

I don’t want to say we could have been so much more.

As our generation screams when will it get better?

The hypocrites preach and their sheep will follow.

And why does it take so much?

They are all the same empty vessels,

Just as terrified as you.

So have heart.

Even though nothing changes,

And we all move amongst each other,

Like phantoms forever searching,

Exploited by the evil residue,

of the scars that remain.

But I can’t give up now,

Love is all I have to believe in.

As the blade passed from ****** to maniac.
The weapon steals a minute portion of their tortured souls.

The energy pulsating form its hilt,
Empowers its wielder with wit and agility.

The humblest of men succumb to its addictive call.

In the moment, not one ounce of guilt is felt, the dagger prevents it,
Replacing most emotions with the bloodthirsty need to ****.

Seconds before the crime, no life is seen in the murderer’s eyes.
The only emotion visible as the knife is ****** into you, is bliss.
