Think what you want?
Not all the time
Thoughts seep through all cracks of the mind
Some you like, Some you hate
Don't you wish you could put thought on a plate
Use a fork and pick out what makes sense
Some you chase around like a pea, some you can stick
With a meal, you can finish but what about thought?

Sometimes long
Sometimes short
Does it have an end
Or do we just pretend
It has meaning
When all the time
It has just been ending.

My brother, my brother, I love you I do
I think of you often so often it's true
My brother, my brother, your sister loves you
This poem is so silly but, it's so true.

Far away night is falling
In the twilight, home is calling
From open door and window
They will greet me when I come
All the years have turned into hours
All my tears turned to way-side flowers.

Ocean so deep with fish
Red, blue, and pink
In waters of Blue and Green
With several colors in between
Sand and shells and different
Swimming things with tails
Salt up your nose, Sun in your eyes
But still, you love it
With all its surprise
There is so much to do
And so much to see
In that big open ocean
We call the sea.

Two little boys walking around
Kicking the dirt upon the ground
Spanish moss hanging from the trees
So thick and long they can hardly see
Stretched before them as far as their eyes could see
Was this Spanish moss hanging down
Hanging down from those proud old trees.

There is a hurt so sharp and deep
It does not want to leave my heart
It happened so very long ago
but seems to hang around more these days
I try to forget and go on with my life
Yet each day seems harder and full of strife
What can I do to get rid of this hurt
Please help me Lord to take each day
And stay by my side to show me the way.
AMEN
