Each independent and strong
Carving through the landscape
Searching for a bond.

creating  their own course through the peaks and valleys in life
Flowing past  the obstacles and  cutting through the strife.

Twisting and turning to make their own journey
Flowing towards the ocean Seemingly in a hurry.

Both Unaware of each others path
Stretching for the horizon unaffected by life's wrath

Rivers flowing and  turning a bend
Soon joined by another together they blend.

Now the power of this force is easy to see
Joined together they form a powerful entity

Destiny brought them together by chance
Able to maneuver this grand dance

Now together their force cannot be split
together ,forever in in life's little skit

Here today and gone tomorrow
Pay attention or prepare for sorrow

Life as we know it is all to fleeting
Never pass a chance for a heartfelt greeting

Life ever after is something we all know
Life on this planet just isn't so

Kinship for those we hold dear
Losing them is what we all fear

Take the time to open your heart
even when you are miles apart

Live your life  And remember your friends
Tomorrow's never promised
It could be the end

Life is a race we all get to start
The journey with loved ones is surely the best part
