From time to time the heart is in need of purification. I shall first remind myself of this, "A heart that houses no lies can never uncover the truth."

Someone asked me, How do we love each other in a pandemic when we have to be  at least six feet apart ?

I answered, I may not be able to lick my own elbow or sneeze with my eyes open or even tickle my own self.  And believe it or not I could never manage to put my fist in my own mouth. But, compared to those things loving each other in a pandemic is as easy as face timing.

The first half of my life
Trying to be something
Feeling like I'm nothing
I would have never tried so hard to be something, if I had known I was nothing!

Second half of my life
Trying to be nothing ?
When all the time I was something
***! I would have never tried so hard to be nothing, if only I had known I was something!

Ignore the inner screams
Refuse to nervously rush around
Slow down and take a minute to listen to that still small voice of truth, that calming quiet voice of assurance.

There's no loss in love
The one who loves can
Never lose.
