Tamarind and Papaya Contemporary Sequences

Dance is a performing art consisting of sequences of movement, either improvised or purposefully selected aesthetic, and often symbolic value.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide a holistic health outlet for individuals. We will also provide information about contemporary dance and the five elements that all forms of dance and creative movement have in common: body, action, space, time and energy.

Contemporary dance is an important genre of dance performed in societies around the World, celebrated by people young and old. Developed during the 20th Century. Contemporary dance involves incorporating aspects of movement from several other genres such as Jazz, modern and ballet.

Why is dance powerful?

Dance is one of the most powerful forms of human expression, and therefore it is a powerful means of communication. Through movements of the human body, dance conveys the whole range of human emotions; tells stories; and strengthens, disciplines, and refreshes the whole person.

Dancing with other people reduces stress and blood pressure, which lowers the risk of heart disease.
30 Aug 2016.

Is dancing better than exercise?

Dancing kills calories, and it is fun to boot! It's great exercise for both men and women. So, if you need to add a shot of energy into your workouts, and you're looking for a fresh, different and fun way to exercise, you need to start dancing!

Psychological torment
is the worst kind of abuse
Some abusers don't even recognise,
they are gaining first prize
It's part of them,
and becomes their mirror then
They make you feel,
like you are a fish in a bowl,
that can't breathe,
and let the bubbles come out whole
They try to make you feel,
like it is you,
that does not have enough,
fish food too
They torment your mind,
with opportunities that are not kind
You may ask for explanations,
they give a burst,
so you hunger and thirst
In-between they talk as if
everything is calm and a dream,
but if you sit back and observe,
you will notice the torment curve
It is subtle,
but inside your feelings,
will feel like bare knuckle
They pretend to care,
so they can show they are being fair
Some may not even know,
that their care,
does not equate,
to what most humans wear
However they would never notice,
if you were not here
Maybe for a brief moment a flash of care
For those who take a stand and say,
I have tried anyway,
a drip line will be installed,
just to soak your arterial cord

From the fish as they are softly stoked

Learning Through Nature
Universe Poems Aug 2023
The children looked around
there were hardly any trees on the land
Most of the children played inside
Mainly concrete where they reside
Quite often a little robot by their side
One weekend
some friends came over to the house to play
They said have you heard of Poetry School?
It helps you learn about nature
Which is a primary tool
It shows you how to plant and grow things
It talks about green spaces
Art activities too
Poetry for expression
Phew!

Familia and Men
Universe Poems Aug 2023
There are many in this world
who live to please others
Not themselves
They feel they must give
Conditioned into the past,
of how others behaved and lived
They are making you into a slave,
so you honour the past cave,
encrypted and dictated,
how you must behave
You will find,
a lot of family traditions,
thrive on starving the men,
so they don't have a life then,
and respect drops from them
Run the shops
Run the business
Jump on the plane abroad
Provide for us and yourself
Deep inside,
there are explosions from being tied
No one states,
you should not love or help your family,
or honour the past of the men before he
Many people have to work in life
A balance makes sure,
they are not ripping your talents,
from inside where they hide,
waiting to be released,
into a holistic health brief,
that gives you a life
Yours without chains,
that crucify the individual eye
A business
When your eyes close,
the bricks will still be breathing,
as they have a damp course,
they will not feel any remorse
Your family will state,
yes he was a good man,
and then they will carry on their lives,
find a way to cope,
which they could of undertaken,
before your life was revoked

Nature Code
Universe Poems Jul 2023
Learn to disengage
It's a skill that takes will
You churn
You yearn
Your body sheds
The pain feels like lead
Did you feel it in your stomach?
Some will feel,
they don't know what to do
or who to talk too
Can you even talk,
when it feels like a fork
Then a break
All the pain,
you feel like you,
shovelled in vain,
becomes your rein
Eventually that pain,
takes you to a place that is tame
What is so bad,
is that pain made you so sad
It forms a storm that is warm,
then you feel dawn
Even at this point you may still care
and see the purpose,
of why the path is there,
but you have a human body,
inside where feelings reside
Our bodies feel hurt and pain,
Physiology mechanisms,
are in every living system,
and will always remain
Emotional pain is adaptive,
and the same
An automated response,
which you can never change
Suppression,
but you can't control pain,
in deep regression
It has to spill out
Once you experience it in life,
realise a tool to disengage rule
You inherently go into survival mode
The body searches for the code:

Damage
Ice
Senses
Emotions
Negative
Grace
Allow
Generate
Empty

Is emotion an automatic processing?

According to Zajonc's (1980) affective primacy hypothesis, initial responses to emotional stimuli are automatic and do not necessarily require conscious awareness.

Everybody is an individual.

Everyone copes with emotion differently.

Coping mechanisms can be different for people with disabilities and health conditions.
Learning new skills may need to be adapted.

This is why it is imperative for individuals to be supported with their holistic health and emotional regulation (EQ).

Universe Poems Jul 2023
Yellow, orange, gold,
as the terrain whispers bold
Materials dancing in a gentle summer sway
Arms twirl,
as if they are searching,
through the mirage whirl
The desert sand,
brushes over a foot as it stands
Flick your foot and toe,
touch the sand,
as you feel sprinkles that glow
Spin around,
as the colours cover your surround
Now float,
as your head turns back around,
and this performance,
lifts you off the desert ground

Sterile container
It contains body organs from you
They are soaked in emotional pain
Where do you start?
Firstly your brain,
the control centre that regulates pain
Heart circulatory system start
Lungs oxygenate blood state,
harmonious hums no debate
Liver metabolic system rate,
you sit just below the diaphragm,
and on top of the stomach,
right kidney and intestines,
nutrients for ****** function beams
Now sieve
Replace the ***** parts
Emotional pain,
pour it down the clinical waste drain
Anatomy internal and external structures,
Physiology studies those functions,
of the structure junctions
Internal ***** systems,
don't only help us process air and food,
in order to survive,
they help us process our emotions,
so we can strive
Unbalanced or prolonged emotional stress,
puts your organs into distress
It causes harm,
when your internal organs are not calm.

When born everyone is an artist
Creativity the right hemisphere
The left of hand use is also there
Cerebrum sits at the topmost,
part of the brain
It holds your memories
It enables you to imagine and think
The source of intellectual activities
Nature and Nurture,
your creative artist is from birth
Our brains can rewire
Our nervous system,
can change its activity
in response to intrinsic,
or extrinsic stimuli
Without this ability any brain,
not just the human brain,
would be unable to develop the gain
From infancy to adulthood,
or recover from brain injury if it stood
The Arts are in existence,
because Society's roots,
are from human stem shoots
This is where art and culture started
Human Culture for all
would never have been created
Maintaining the Arts
is paramount in all creative parts
So the baby to adult artist,
will have support when the inner artist calls,
the memory won't pause,
and the nervous system,
will keep it's modified connections,
without fictions needing to rewire the systems
No misdirections only artist's reflections
