Everyone Needs a Rest
Universe Poems Feb 2023
Today I was in bed
Mum and dad were asleep
Another house,
my carer was having a rest,
from the week
It's the weekend nearer
I wondered what I could do
I had my iPad too
or the family computer view
I remembered they had said,
poetry is good for you,
when you wake or before bed
The name?
Poetry School came to my mind again
I searched and found,
Universe Poems in the online round
Poetry you are cool,
and I can read or take part,
when in my school
When I wake in my home,
without waiting for a break,
or the teacher who maybe late
When the mainstream doors,
are closed due to weather,
or infections like leather
Inset days,
my parents or carers find ways
I saw the word literature
Now I need to find out the picture
A few minutes have passed,
I felt so free and engaged at last

Balance Restoration
Universe Poems Jan 2023
Restore balance
    Children technology build them
    School and extracurricular activities,
    covered tool
+ Sprinkle green time
+ the adventure line,
and a big handful of play,
    dipped in clay,
= restored children at play

Swag and Sunshine
Universe Poems Jan 2023
I know I am at home
when sunshine electrifies the swag
I pull the curtain cord,
and the light enters,
providing my poetry sword
A home from home,
where artistic expression can roam

Literature give me your hand,
and then let your mind expand
Artistic expression,
form and merit important for all
Written works,
poetry emotionally evokes responses
The artistic expression,
you received at the literature lesson

POETRY
Celtic
Pre-ROMAN
LANGUAGE
3rd Century B.C
Roman Literature
Tracked back to thee
Latin the dead language
One of the most enriched
Like the Sanskrit twist
**** heidelbergensis
Stone Age Britons,
dark hair curlier fair
Blue eyes and dark brown skin
Perhaps black in tone,
striking to us today,
to see it that way
Celtic britons helped poetry to stay
Scotland covered in ice sheets,
nomadic hunter-gatherers,
living off the land,
walking at sea level stand
Heidelberg Poetry Man
No literal language,
picture stories,
poetic language glories
Figurative language

We Write Together
Universe Poems Jan 2023
Erutan together we will write
Your encased in the soul
When I sit between our leaves,
and feel the crumpling of your textures,
I know your not just there for breakfast
The songs you make for me
that's when I float free
When my face is wet,
your hydrating breath you set,
cleanses without regret
You feel cold
I know that's you being bold
It is time to go
Let the branches,
be crisp in show
Nature and Erutan,
I thank you for being,
my inspirational writing nature hand

swirls with letters a lot
Feeling the clay a stylus of reed
Sticks can also succeed

emotions and feelings that breathe
Free and ready to flow
Touch and glide,
over the letters that reside

Dusted pine cones
Fragrant spiky pine branch
Yuletide dinner,
some sleep may provide thinner
A door opens,
and they drop to the hole-dweller's floor
A celebration in swing,
shall they sleep or begin

Your Creative Part

They wanted to say when
but art saw them then
In a space,

Creative art does not need,
a specific time to start
It's when you are ready,
for your part

Tallow Then Beeswax
Universe Poems Dec 2022
Sheep, pig, cow, or ox fat
Tallow widely used
500 BC is when the Romans,
began producing tallow wax,
with an unwound strand of twine,
for light at the time
Everyone was asleep,
but the candlelight was not meek
Together
1500's, beeswax,
light the way forever
Soy and coconut are also true,
in lighting the way for you

Universe Poems Dec 2022
A white scenery
Colour spectrum dreamy
Behind is the green foliage,
as the water restores whole
Gradual light will soon be told,
through flowers that will unfold
Until then
Green and bare branches say when
It's soon nature's Winter Solstice time,
where the light will grace,
each plant tree or thyme
Ahead light filling the air
You are shedding for a reason,
letting light back into you there
Preparing for the new transformation fair
A carousel,
get to know the seasons well

Lēoht
Universe Poems Dec 2022
A year of life
Time moves you see
It's not static
Others are moving,
although quite erratic
Light floated along for free,
but used their feelings that be
They stayed entwined,
while people unravelled,
and were unkind
A human being,
with consciousness and seeing
Middle eye being
Feeling the air some beware
Tuned into all the vibrations there
Why can't you feel the light
Churning, concerning, discerning
Something called recharge,
floats along on the barge
Times needed towed by light
Other times carrying,
all that was bright
All that is left is light
