Visiting the beach on a school day in spring
Watching the waves and the birds on the wing
It's just me all alone no one around
This particular place can be described in a sound

My thoughts are a lost ocean
Seeking passage through winding canyons
Leading back to the source
The source of creation as perceived by the regimented structure of modern life ?
Modern life that views man's achievements as a eureka moment
A life that requires an explanation for all occurrences
I must climb deeper to the peak of this inverted mountain
To a time of wonder
No boundaries
Unprogrammed
It is almost within reach
In this depth lies the truth

life is unique for everyone
let's not interfere because it makes us feel right
respect our fellows before trying to change and rearrange complexities that we will probably never fully understand

before the light disappears I stare into the sky
clouds have taken on a tinge of colour

truth is in the heart

Lost is the mood that drives me today

This society depresses
Why am I so bad
Crisis in the world directs me to sad
Emotional blackmail for a world that is broke
Business ain't bad but I still can't be woke

Where are the elected in this generation of need
Happy for votes to sow their seed
No progress is made to end conflict and hate
Economics prevail despite all that is said

To end like this
Is not too smart
But I feel we are lost
Unless we start
Standing for truth
Not succumbing to fear
Challenging not accepting

Life is not meant
To smell like roses

The thorns are real
