Drive or not

Lost is the mood that drives me today
Wherever I go it follows my way
This society depresses
Why am I so bad
Crisis in the world directs me to sad
Emotional blackmail for a world that is broke
Business ain't bad but I still can't be woke

Where are the elected in this generation of need
Happy for votes to sow their seed
No progress is made to end conflict and hate
Economics prevail despite all that is said

To end like this
Is not too smart
But I feel we are lost
Unless we start
Standing for truth
Not succumbing to fear
Challenging not accepting
Or
Living
Does
Not
Exist
Here

Delicate petals awaken at first
Slowly subside like the quenching of thirst
Warmth to the fore demanding attention
Undercurrents of peace too subtle to mention
Bursting with seeds preparing to sow
The scent of the dawn is ready to go

I am just a beach
Pounded by the waves
Sand washed away
Different everyday

I am just a beach
Subject of the sea
Never to be free
Lost for.....
Eternity

Some say the shore
Others
The ocean's *****
No purpose
No more

If the trees kept growing up to the stars
Would we climb as high as we do today

If the road kept going without any cars
Would we reach a place where we could stay

If the earth turned it's back for the sun to burn
Would the moon wave goodbye and just fly away

The answers as always we cannot say
