Woke up at 5
Realised I had missed 4 years
The next 10 were a blur
Turned into a teenager with no fears
After 30
Thought I knew the plan
Passing 50
Still felt like a boy living as a man
60
It's just a number
Until the mirror laughs at me
I think I'll sleep at 70
See what the next life will be

In the eyes of the teller the listener gives all
One sided conversation
Let's ask the wall
Polite nodding and smiling
Exacting and sincere
And do you agree with my view

"Sorry",
Try the other ear

It's nice to talk
To hear ones voice
But please remember
To take in what you're saying requires absorption and choice

Dawn
Quiet(ish)
Streets are
Empty(ish)
Just an old fox heading home after a good night
Howling laugh
Those cats didn't now what hit them
Yeah

Deep
Is
My
Idiosyncrasy
No
Intrusion
Shall
Heal

I am not here
Not as I
Can be present
Through the invisible highways
That transmit my ramblings
To where they finally rest
I don't know
But
If you find them
Then I told you so

Witness the world
Unconcerned
With our ways
Developing as it should
Ourselves
Here until whenever
Civilisations come
Then go
And
Repeat
But
What will thrive
With the passage of time

Behind dark clouds
The brightness lights my eyes
