Our world
Saumya Singla Sep 2020
This world so beautiful
Filled with people so pitiful
As everyone sees a tedious day pass
The weak and poor cease to last

The world is not fair
With some mistakes made beyond repair
Reality being as sharp as a knife
We march on this narrow path named life

As adoring as a cat may be
It has sharp claws
As perfect as someone may seem
They always have hidden flaws

Not everything that you hear maybe is true
But if you stay strong and continue marching
You can make it through
The reality of our world

Beach hole in the sand
Saumya Singla Sep 2020
I see swells
hum and chug
to death
shakes of sun
charming snakes
******* candy caramel
cakes and pink gum
top snow under unicycles
shavings of nutshell and breath
lettuce crumbling in juicing recycles
peanut suits for marbling steaks
steel welding ribbons and writer's ****
