It is time to write again
                to let the pen flow
as the breeze comes through
      my open window...

Thoughts arise like buds
                    strewn across the
               the open mind,

                  then when left agape

they scatter like wild flowers
          before settling
        on my nape....
They called her triple scoop at school cuz she was kind of plump
she was made of ice cream, so all day long she ran and ran and ran
Sliding in and out of freezers  just to gather herself up in a clump
They called her "Dairy Queen Of Junior High" she never got a tan

Flavored in three Neapolitan colors she came, now that is insane !
She dolloped to wallop, d turning away from the sun, run Queenie run
Oh how sweet but how melty she dripped each time it began to rain
The only thought through her head was, " I might as well be a nun !"

Then one day she met Mr. Freezer, who lived in an Igloo by the Artic
come live with me & we will make snowballs all day and play ...
It was best to live in the cold, for that was her honest prognostic !
together they thrived and felt good in that place called, " Snowsway"
I was six years old, the year was 1966.  Mom left me alone in a plaza
with my one year old sister in a perambulator.
She went inside to do the grocery and asked me to take care
of her while she picked a few items;
Along came two teenagers.  Inching closer to the carriage they peeked inside,
"OOOOH  she's cute, is this your baby sister ?"
The next comment froze me where I stood,
"We are going to take her, " one of them said,
while the other grabbed the handles of the carriage
They shoved me aside and took off.
I was in shock but I managed to run inside.  Sobbing  I told my mom
they had stolen my baby sister ;
Mom ran out of the store and chased after them.
They ran fast but mom ran faster with me lagging behind.
Suddenly they got scared when they heard her yell and pushed the carriage in the middle of the road.  Mom grabbed it before a car came by,
but slashed her leg on the steel frame while saving my sister from a car.
All my life I have had an intense fear of losing someone dear
Mom and dad both are both gone now, but the memory of that day
will live inside of me forever.

A true story that happened to me.
Be the rising Moon in my dark nights, moon, I am thirsty for your light.
Rumi 💙

Thirsty as a dry and parched rose in the dessert
Her liquid light of effervescent blue is calling me
Invitations of the highest order, she is the moon, a
Roseling, seeking skies in a fibrillated night, she is a
Spangled silver light upon my semi-shadowed face
Titillating my senses across the waters I call her
Yodeling for attention like a wild Irish rose
for
Light me up moon as you light the garden rose
I want to feel your power like the howling wolf
Girth my soul and appeal to my senses moon
Helium to my thoughts you bring me home to you
True and trusted friend, you moon, are my telling rune.

Halloween is never an alien moment for those who love to trick or treat
a caricature face painted in caked blood and fangs is an aim to scare
Donning superman capes they go door to door with cautionary meet
masked like vampires, a closed mouthed muffle in gist says, we care

Trickery can be fatal done in mindless chatter and spittle of BOO
we don't want to face abduction of childhood thrills, so better not ignore
Paralyzed by fear can be good or bad this is a circumstance of new Halloween it up partners in crime but keep a distance don't abhor

Feasting on candy day succeeding all good, but wear a mask for me
diabolical ways are subtle a masked bandit is a welcome sight to see.
"Those we love don't go away they walk beside us every day"

Years may come and years may go
still the memory of her scent still flows
"I'm praying in an angel, just for you"
she'd say then whisper, "I love you"

Echoes of her love still stir in me
beneath the silent hush of her carefree
The story of our lives , cache of gold
hidden in my chest, never to grow old

Years may come and years may go
she walks beside me every day.
Those we love don't go away,
inside our hearts they always stay.
I close my eyes and recall yesterdays beautiful summers
barbecues from charcoal bricks and slow basted meats
aromas that lingered long after the first sizzle of rare
Mother arriving with a platter of raw hotdogs and steaks
dad fanning the fire with an old tin top.   Fumigated waves
of thick gray smoke filling the air, we waited hungerly  .
Later stuffed as little piglets we would gather round
the wooden picnic table, and tell stories and jokes.
The sun would slowly begin to descend and the air
would gently cool. We'd all go inside for hot tea
and a little T.V. sitcom.
How I miss the old days, wish I could bring back
even for just one day,. so I could smell the barbecue
and drink mother's sugary strawberry Koolaid,
one more time.
The Trinity within us is the seed of eternal life.  It is God's presence in our souls
that is both manifested here on earth and also present when we reshape at heaven's door
Orbs of beauty grace enhanced
threefold flames of love entranced
enraptured by His light we, lanced
follow Him blindly in a path that has been marked on the day of our precious birth;
Blessed is the fire that burns deep within our soul .  It is the flame of the human spirit touched into being by the mysteries of life. It is the fire of reason, the fire of compassion, the fire of community,
the fire of justice, the fire of faith.   It is the fire of love burning deep in the human heart that exists with Divine Glow inside every human life.
Threefold flame of the heart
from God we will never be apart
He is our Holy counterpart
Travel with me and enter
into the flower carpeted mountain meadows
of my youth;
Lose yourself  in the wild beauty which resides within
God's tinted skies of yellow and vermouth.
Vested memories held captive by eidetic moments,
"Oh blessed beating heart, "
enter the flowered thoughts of a poet's nest, delve into the
sanctuary of God's Grace,
for it is here that you belong.
Seen through the eyes, felt with the heart
ensconced with a soul your free to roam,
inside roads less traveled, where timeless voices
are heard, through the echoes of all time.

You belong to the One who has given you,
both shape and creed.
Here we are
       this and now
never turn your heart away !
Hear the song
that comes out strong
                then sweet ...
pure upon your lips of red

Birds of paradise
              fly high
           as they soar towards
                         the sun !

Here we are
                you and I
                        living for the other
as if we'll never die !
Watching the festive tree light up the room I gladden
like a tiding shifting  from the present moment to the past
Remembering the happy smiles that grew upon our faces
as the season approached with all its glitter and bustle

Tinseled moments overlaid as memories turn golden
by the fitted hugs of mom and dad and all I held so dear
Skies of reddish hue falling gently on the Christmas tree
landing on a Child Of Love, nestled softly in a manger

Breathing in the Hope, we sang with peppermint voices
carefree as the wind that blew upon our Christmases
As I recall the Christmastides of old I rejoice in the thought
that the Christ of yesteryear, still still shines in me today.

The Red Train  (part two)
TO THE NORTH POLE OF COURSE...
The farmlands, bridges and country sides woosh by in a rush
then vanish before my eyes at a hundred and twenty six miles per hour.
My mind is traveling at the speed of Donner and Blitzen.  It goes through a magical hourglass only to nestle inside a cinnamon scented wagon that is infused with the clanking of fine china cups.  A peppery scent of hot chocolate perfumes the air and lands on my palate, sweetly.
While I am being ushered forth into Christmas, I sift through  time, backpedaling swifter than Santa's mistletoe kiss.
I hear his rippling laughter and melt like butter.  My extra sensory perception picks up the echoes through the halls of my memory
and I say to myself, " I think I'm going home, to the North Pole of course."
You were only twelve when I first met you through your mom
a special star in the sky that shone always brighter then the sun
You had the rare ability Alison of seeing auras around each soul
and when you spoke about it, your eyes pinned me like dark coal

Then you visited Quebec City and you came down with a disease
a rare one, with only 7 in the world, no drugs could fast appease
Intestinal lymphangiectasia, as rare as it was , you fought it still
at the Sick Kids Hospital, they placed a tube and fed you at will

You raised money for others like you, and doctors were baffled
by the sheer stamina of you, we had a banquet and tickets raffled
You wore a lavender gown and you gave a speech that made us cry
at the age of eighteen you died, and never questioned God's why

Your mom, my best friend, got a coach with horses of white rhodium
and at your funeral  the congregation of angels were your symposium
I never cried so much as I did that day, when you left behind Caroline
a sister who loved you more then anyone else, but it was your time

Alison my dear may you rest in peace, and may the wayward dove bring
your memory to the caves of Al, where children children bravely sing
God speed my love, may you arrive to the summit of your realization
that the auras you saw were a reflection of your Angel immunization .
( If you want to be in their heart tomorrow, be in their life today.)

Touch the cornerstone of parenthood, love them with fervent
Open hearted dedication.  As a mother or father, only you can give them the
Upbringing they need, the understanding of themselves. Just love them and
Caress their souls with inspiration.  Help them to achieve their dreams ,
Holding nothing back.  Live for them and enjoy the contentment of parenthood;

And when they grow up and are ready to spread their wings and fly, don't
Negate their desires.  Love is all about letting go, share space, then
Do the right thing by them.  Do not raise them co-dependent but sane

Guide them and teach them self assurance and self acceptance
Only you can guide them lovingly, so bless them, everyday.
A Quote: Those who think there is a time limit to grief,
have never lost a piece of their heart.
**
If I could clip a wing upon my thoughts
or pluck a rose from my heart for you
if I could rocket up like an astronaut
then I know that I would never, be blue

If I could turn into a lantern bright
or be the sun that rises every day
if I could reach you in that place of light
I know that in my heart, you'd always stay

If I could stop the world from turning blue
or pluck a tinsel from our family tree
if I could love you better after you
have gone to be with God, then I'd be free

But since I had to live on memories this year,
the only thing I pray for is strength, from my lips to God's ear.
Quote by: Blue Sapphire
"One can only give what one has, be it love or be it hate !"

Where do we place that cup of hate when love's bitter pill,
has been swallowed?
How do we move back into love when all is dead and gone?
Do we fold our cards and peacefully accept
or do we play the wild card of hate and send
resentful snakes slithering down the path of a broken life....
Where do we find the courage to love again after hate
has devoured our sense of compassion and taken away
the virtue of forgiveness?
One can only give what one has, so will it be hate of love
that wins over, in the end.
It's your card game so let me know if you decide to fold
or Trump it !
The most beautiful morning stretches before my eyes
beneath a parapet of pink gloaming, one promised breath
All Remains of yesterday swallowed by a burst of fresh air
both window and I are privy to a turtle dove cooing on my ledge
"This is not my habitat"  she seems to coo sweetly
I answer her in honesty " it isn't mine either" sweet thing
The coffee smells good and my dippy egg is semi-soft
I sense a new beginning and I am not afraid;
Tomorrow's hopes are perched safely on my shoulder
and somehow, I am not afraid of growing older
Heaven is not a pipe dream mirage from where I stand
God is having a giggle, at the turtle dove and I

Turtles are amazing reptile species both resilient and wonderfully slow
they endure all kinds of changes & survive in many kinds of weather
Retracting their heads right inside when they sense danger  is normal
sort of like us when we feel threatened we run to our safety hiding zone
Our hearts are attached to our bodies like the shell is attached to the turtle,  the shells of most turtles are composed of layers of keratin
resembling the protein on our finger nails.
Take life slow and  enjoy it, When you move quickly  more is accomplished, more is diminished
Slow-moving reptiles with cold-blooded metabolisms live longer lives
we too can slow down life by looking at things & people differently
Watch the way the light is cast on a flower, realize the value of looking
Choose your footsteps with intent take them to your heart and breathe
Even if turtles lay lots of eggs , we give birth one babe at a time
so spend time with your children, let them know they're loved everyday
Sign up for meditation, or just walk like a turtle in your favorite spot
turtles are smart creatures that know life is short so please don't abbreviate it,  LIVE IT WITH PURPOSE, NICE AND SLOW ...
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the night
Santa and reindeer flew into the light
not a gift went amiss not a sound did he make
as he slid down the chimney and arose with a quake

with sifoned soft whistles and gregarious tee hees
he placed down the gifts just before the big flee
too late for retrieval soon he was caught
by a little wee tot who abandoned his cot

May I call you Kriss Krinkle he said with a lisp
made you some cookies, bit burnt, but their crisp
soon they were wrapped and then tucked in His sack
alongside the toys, they went clickety clack

Oh crumbs I must go, Mrs C wants me home
she covers them good with some chocolate arome
no worries my lad, next year burn some more
my reindeer love burntys, cuz it helps when they snore !
Quote By: Sofia Rojas
The wrong person will find you at peace then later leave you in pieces
The right person will find you when broken and help you find peace again
Both are necessary in the development and learning of your existence.

So many years of trying to find the right partner
all I got was pain and heartache, where did I go wrong ?
Guess I spend too much time trying to protect my armor
lost in my loneliness I always felt like I didn't belong;

Then I learned to self soothe and sing my own lullabies
stitched my hopes to trust and prayed him in, Wow ! Who knew !
That the right one would come along and hear my cries
yes he came to my rescue, right on cue !

Sometimes we need to find many Mister Wrongs
before we can finally find the Mister Right
It doesn't mean we failed,
it just means your prayer never got mailed....

WE ARE GOING ON A JOURNEY FOR TWO
FAR AWAY FROM THE LAND
FLYING TO THE STARS WHERE THE MOON
RESIDES
WE ARE GOING TO HEAR VIOLINS PLAYING
IN THE CAVES OF ALBERNON
SOAR WITH THE EAGLES IN THE SKY
AND FLY WITH BUTTERFLIES

WE ARE GOING TO LIVE FREELY AS TWO
LIKE TWO TURTLE DOVES IN THE HEAVENS
UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF JUST ONE GOD...

DRAW IN YOUR BREATH AND THEN INHALE THE ENERGY
OF OLD THAT ONCE BROUGHT YOU LIFE  AND AWAKENED PROMISE  OF VIGOROUS GOOD .
STAND AT THE EDGE OF THE SUN AND WARM YOUR SOUL WITH THE RAYS OF LIGHT THAT BRING YOU ONLY HEALTH AND PROSPERITY. SIT WITH THE MOON AND THE STARS AT NIGHT, ALLOW THEM to SOAK YOU WITH SYSTEMATIC  BEAMS OF BEAUTY AND GRACE
(breathe in and out slowly )
WRAP YOUR MIND AROUND THE AMPLE CLOUDS, AND FEEL THE COMFORT OF A DIVINE MAJESTIC PROVIDENTIAL ONE.  GLORIOUS AND FRUITFUL AS A FIG TREE IN FULL BLOOM, BENIGNLY CUT FROM THE CLOTH OF LOVE AND MERCY, EVERY FIG LEAF IS AS PERFECT AS YOU ARE DEAR ONE.
(breathe in and out slowly )
PLACE YOUR FINGER ON THE PULSE OF UNITY AND LET YOUR HEART BE THE GENUINE PRAYER  FOR UNIVERSAL HEALING AND GOOD WILL TO ALL.
DRAW IN YOUR BREATH AND INHALE COMMUNITY SPIRIT,  KNOWING THAT TOGETHERNESS BRINGS POSITIVITY AND ETERNAL BLISS.  BE SOFT AS A KISS AND STURDY AS THE GENTLY WIND WHEN IT BRUSHES THROUGH THE PINES
ALLOW YOURSELF A MOMENT OF SILENCE TO HEAR YOUR SOUL SPEAK.  FOR MEDITATION WAS THE LANGUAGE OF SAINTS , SINNERS AND MEDIEVAL KNIGHTS ALIKE. NO MATTER WHO AND WHAT YOU ARE, KNOW THAT YOU BELONG TO THIS HUMAN RACE. YOU ARE ONE OF MANY AND YOU ARE SPEICAL. REJOICE BELOVED ONE.
(breathe in and out slowly )
Whatever you mean to me
is nestled deep inside my spirit
Lips sealed, I'll never speak of it
not to you, nor any other soul;
Heart pumping soul-searing love,
unrequited and strong.
He was an ancient warrior from times of old
back in the days when the sun was new
and the stars at night were brilliant blue
like the canopus star he once knew

Often, he was found rummaging the forest
looking for ther rarest mushrooms
as the eagles flew he counted tree rings
indenting the roots of ancestry wings

Then one day, he was reborn again
in an era of squabble filled with wars
silence became an oddity full of slew
and "The Sacred" a rarity hidden in full view

They tagged him with bipolar with doctorate degree
for this was a world of medicine and mental deficiency
yesterday he howled at the moon and cloaked the stars
today he is a sad man longing for a trip to Mars

He the ancient warrior of days of old
fights the good battle everyday, with tools of old
mistletoe on oak, he held his staff
all the time knowing his time would pass

For a friend who suffers from bipolar
Amidst reality of my life two single things remain
inflection of your voice and glow of your tender eyes
held safe by this memory we become transparent rain
wild as the tidal waves of Bristol souls of no disguise
fluid as the ocean with are open inlets giving rise

sepia moments of a little cottage hidden in the cove
the scent of sweet cinnamon and the taste of your clove
the cackle sound of unseasoned wood against the brick
we ****** the flavors of our passion, and called it love,
holding on to each other, like flames on a candle wick

molten wax and liquid centers with all I hold so dear
when the moon comes into view the stars turn into glass
willful moments arching as tender reeds adhere
we spiral down the staircase, of God's Mandir
we find the miracle of us, and know that it will last

caught between two soft spots we are cloaked in silk
like two lovers in heaven or two lonesome sacred elks
amidst the reality of my life, two single things remain
the taste of a kiss and the place from whence we came
you my first love, were always right as rain.

Quote by: Michael Bassey Johnson
“Beyond the veil lies what our eyes cannot see, skin cannot feel and consciousness cannot absorb.”

A parting thought in the middle of ordinary time
flesh wants to stay but the heart wants to soar
inside a broken temple the intervals of misery persist,
and so she flies into a world, untouchable as the dawn;
She is a castaway in  a land far away
a daydreamer disentangled from the rip tide of reality
a torn vessel gliding through a shroud, most High.
Forty cubits long and twenty cubits wide
she fits in the palm of His hand, like a small Jesus.
It takes three hundred Sacred Angels
to appease her ear-shattering cries
Each time she flies here to this place,
her wistful sadness disappears.

This is a place where  all good girls go to die
where the agatat sound of a tearing veil
and the arcanum whisper of God prevails,
a place where a child is heard and paried, in love.
We were visiting good old Niagara Falls, the most beautiful place on earth. With its waterfall cadences and fresh lit sun, who could ask for anything more.  Hand in hand we strolled together wearing summer sandals light as air.  We talked and spoke of days to come, how we'd make a family  together some day.
Lovers in love
two linen gloves
fitted just right
There were acrobats, jugglers on tightropes, and children rippling the air with their tinkling laughter.  Together we aimed at little yellow ducks and won the grand prize. Hugging Mrs. Jewel Bug, we walked away kissing beneath a bluest sky dappled with cotton candy clouds and morning sighs. Since we stayed longer than expected,  we stopped by a little Cafe and drank frothy cappuccinos to our hearts content.
full-fledged memories
golden colored hours
days gone by
Those were the days of impulsive escapades, endless surprises and pleasant up-comings.  Moments of mindlessness existence in a lifetime yet to be unspun. Today the mortgage is paid and the children left home.  My favorite juggler is in heaven waiting for an  old tattered Jewel bear and a swollen gal with a heart pliable as ghee. I smile at the thought that one day I will join him. We'll drink foamy coffees and watch the trapeze artists spin, swing and fly.  They will hang off ropes made of stars and moonbeams, just like us.

Man who prepares for war invites war/Man who prepares for God invites God

I am not ready to strap a grenade to my chest
for the sake of more power
Nor am I ready to **** my fellow man for the
sake of pleasing my Government
I am not ready to die so that I could know
which side of the fence I didn't blow
War and Peace, a silver knife ready to be used
Once side butters organs for evil doers full of hate
the other, the cockles of a compassionate heart
I rather die in peace donating my parts to love
then in a merciless cruel way such as war...
How about you, how do you wish to die ?
When we are done lingering in this world of ours
we'll walk  up the road to that place of sanction
where the ocean will meet our bloom with a smile
bringing thoughts of sisterhood and brother time
We will link arm to arm and glide onto the shore
rolling small pebbles in the palm of our hands
Sandy dreams of health will not elude us nor be hazy
in this world of sound life, like velvet to our ears
We will run and not perish nor ever be lonely or crave
in this world that once launched rocket ships to stars ;
We will now send our hearts to the moon,
and all of this for the sake of love, yes its coming soon
the day of reckoning is over, the elements of truth are clear
we will be saved, as health and prosperity draws near.
And so be it, says the last Namaste
Your Mystic Rose :)
God is Love—I dare say. But what a mischievous devil Love is!
~Samuel Butler~ (1612–1680)

What can it be this act so grand
that one can taste it through dark skies
and even when a baby dies
love beats inside a mother's cries

What is this love of Heroes
that when the world has gone insane
it rights the wrongs inside your brain
and fills your soul like rain

What is this thing that we all love
that gives us breath and life
is it a tool that ends all strife
or acts of God under a knife

What can it be this word so deep
that seeps you to the bone
its LOVE alone
that  saves, then brings you home.
A moment on the ear an opus creation without flaw
the sound of pure laughter from a child on a see saw
prolonged hours of ecstasy in the palm of God's hand
the sound of the ocean on my chest and where I stand

A daffodil of yellow smiling up at me from base
the scent of petrichor in the soil after a days rain
spectacular views from Mars or any place in outer space
just about anything that makes me laugh, insane  !

A slow and gentle kiss and poetry, from Baudelaire
romantic dates that end with chocolate and roses
wooly socks, afghan blankets made of little squares
antiques that remind me of mom, and her neurosis

a million breaths released just after,  "I SIGH",
and all the things on my bucket list before I die.

What really matters
is not what happens to you
but how you experience it.

Don't let the world assault your soul, protect it if you can
Don't let life beat you down, get up for the second round
Don't sit and stew on it, have a good cry then move on
Don't leave words unsaid,  "Say what you need to say."
Don't be a victim of circumstance just pave a new way.
When I grow old I will laugh much and tell bad jokes
wear my clothes inside out and drink Pepsi not Coke
then I'll go out and play skip rope, with the kiddies
and visit a shelter who has lots of cats and kitties
When I grow old I'll get a new set of teeth for munch
hide an apple under my bed, in case I need to crunch
I will wear my hair red so all my enemies can drop dead
paint my eyes baby blue, when I have nothing else to do;
When I grow old I'll silence my airs and perk up my pair
strut my stuff all over the place, yes I got things to wear
all  purple, bold and beautiful like me and made of gold
the memory may fade but my heart, will not grow old
when I grow old I will laugh much and tell bad jokes,
wear my clothes inside out, with a couple of cloaks .
So whom does the lightening
strike ?
While your hiding behind
that big oak tree.
She is sweet as a jujube that one
doling out Christmas cards by the ton
Her colorful clothes are like banners
and she reminds me of a sparkly elf

Wearing cute bows in her hair
she tells ding **** stories of old
A jolly girl that is as bright as can be
I love it when she sits by the Xmas tree

I call her my doppelganger my mini-me
her hair was once gold and now its gray
of those lovely cards she owns a stack
when she smiles, she doesn't hold back.
When times get hard dear soul
lean on the power of God !
If stars refuse to shine then
hold on to the light of Christ
and let Him illuminate, your path
Don't linger on your grief for too long
for even rainbows disappear after rain
Just believe in the power of His love
and keep your eyes on the prize
heaven is for the brave ones like you
When times get hard dear one,
lean on the power of God !
Just one summer               like no other
that is what it was !
You and I across the field
                          playing like wild children
in the playground of my heart !
Here and there, everywhere
                    we were
                            angels soaring o'er daises
     unplucked*                           breathing *
Rain or shine, we were always together
drenched in sunlight we were poetry
As we lay softly on the
                         summer grass
the heady scent of flowers clothed us,
even rain could not wash away
                    the inhale of our innocence,
It was a summer               like no other
the summer      when                      we first met ,

When I was a child a gust of wind seemed like a storm,
I would gaze at the dark sky with memories horrendous floating around.
I would pick up the sword and fight- not my enemies,
but my shadow that wouldn't lay dead.

She traveled in the darkest places,
she jumped, she cried, she suffered and she died
then a light came around with eyes like mist
a greyhound behind that dragged soul-less faces.

A fate that surrounded me for longest time
it whispered my name
I knew I was next,
I swayed between the truth and reality.

my universe got smaller,
every day got harder
and as moments passed by
I knew I  couldn't escape what was in store

how could that be the end
It was my whisperers choice
Run, is that all I can do?
the light never showed up
but left behind my whisperer
with numerous faces hanging around
nameless. with no desire
there was no fate nor destiny.

I knew my shadow would hide
the truth, she knew
but reality broke its reason
she is running too

is there a way we would meet
running on the same road
is there a way we stay together
betray fate and make destiny ours
The process of accepting one's persona is a pathway of realizing, and analyzing and also loving the result

Quote: Don't let the lilacs die without a touch of sweet perfume
send forth, from life to grave

She scented her wings with a powdery substance of lilac
then parachuted to earth tipping her scissions
with utmost precision;
Stardust fell across his cupid cheek but he did not rouse
talcum scent of baby powder mingled with sweet sachets
alighting gently like the moon when discerning the sky;

With whispering wings wrapped snuggly
she leaned over his tiny body then whispered,
" go ahead,... live "

White lotus of love you are always a promise
you with your petals soft and ready to open
why do you entice me to dream like a sleuth
looking for signs everywhere, are you youth?

Egyptian beauty of grace I remember your face
you send shivers down my spine warm as wine
this little thing we have together , pure heather
feather me with your kisses but don't go away

White lotus "I call you Hope"  show me uphill
let me climb you, and as I rise I'll turn and spin
promise me you'll deliver me into tomorrow
regardless of what I see I believe in you lotus

White lotus of love you are always by my side
bloom in me so I may beget your love's arride.

She rose to lower heights as she plucked the cotton with
                               her bare hands
Stooped over she pulled the cotton from the bolls, fine cotton
                               that it was !
Twelve years of slavehood, her daughter taken for her beauty
                                  was separated from her youth...
Haggard, hollow-eyed and filled with sorrow she worked soberly
for she would not be sold, she was not for sale !
Eliza wept tears of grief but, there was nothing she could do,
her daughter had been taken away from her.
Come back—don’t leave me—come back, mama, was her last cry
until distance intervened and then all was finally wholly lost.

Foot Note: Eliza never saw or heard of Emily. In the cotton field, always and everywhere she was talking to her.  Only when absorbed in that illusion or asleep, did she ever have a moment’s comfort, afterwards.

White snow begins to settle round the coffee shop as we sip our cafe
the Christmas lights twinkle in the evening as a cadence of beauty
falls in amber shades aglow,  kissing quadrant windows perfect view
bright shiny mirrors in our eyes, we are staring into each others souls...

Wreaths of green with silver baubles frame the wooden entrance door
street lamps are smiling at the halos of our shadowy coupling silhouettes
The aromatic scent of coffee bean and vanilla essence reaches our nose
sweetly wrapping us in festive shawls our mood rejoices, oh love,  oh love,

Dance with me to the end of this dream for I believe your are my music
hold my hands across this sturdy table,  let me feel your ****** warmth
Peppermint kisses and wooly eyes that see only the gaze of each other
as the snow falls gently twirling all around us at the cafe, we talk softly

Like lovers of old in a realm of new, the weather is so cozy and charming
we huddle closer to each other as the fireplace invites us to its hearth
we choose to stay little longer as the white snow settles all around us
the snowman outside grins a silly grin and says " heh, I know those two"

God speaks as conscience;
childlike innocence.
When we disobey,
soul’s blue skies turn grey.

The ever changing moods of a soul that longs to be free
can be varied and vast like an ocean's fluctuate artistry
So often we lose the hearing of the young
replacing it with stubborn ears of old that refuse to believe
Having stared at grey skies for a lifetime we no longer
sheen the Faith of our forefathers ;
We never turn the finger nor blame the culprit
for the turning of events
we turn a blind eye to our past actions
the ones that have led us astray;
God speaks as conscience but sometimes
we interpret His voice any which way we please
when soul's blue skies turn grey,
whos fault is it anyway !

Betrayed by our hand,
life’s barren and bland,
until we awake;
dark desires forsake.
Engulfed in the carnage desires of flesh and wanton beat
we lose sight of the glorious pregnant gardens of our youth
Slighting beauty we abuse of the God given gift of choice
we opt for a barren and bland life of repetitive fractal sins;
Betrayed by our own hand we have no recourse
until we awaken to the calling of an Arching blessing;
Then we move into a colored world full of bright nuances,
where everyone can see that we have finally understood
the true meaning of being fully awakened by the Spirit.
Amen !
As I shed myself for you
                     piece by piece
May I never lose sight
            of who I am
                           and
            what I am all about....

As I join my heart
                  to yours
May I be your loving addition
             and not your only
what I need most is me....

As love takes us to
                      the Everest mountain
May I never have to jump
         without you
we are in this together....

As we rise to the stars
                   whether we shine together
or stay in the shadows alone
May we never lose sight
of how and why we fell in love  !
Oh, if only you would incline your auricle to me my dear
and walk slowly towards the wisps of my caress, your skin
cool and fresh as rain, would feel the touch of my breath
I would whisper little nothings in your shell and tell you secrets
comb your hair, kiss your face, like only a mother's love could
I'd lift the collar off your neck and blow kisses on your nape
I'd guide you into the warm rush of air that fills your void
I'd lay on your chest while you breathe and repeat your creed
if only you would draw your helix ear to me and listen softly
I would be your song, your poem or maybe, a tinkling chime
I'd be your constant companion and listen to you, all for free
If I were the wind on your back, I'd push you gently forward
give you so many gusts of joy you would never turn your back
If I were the wind on your face I'd make you blush with pleasure
oh, if only you would incline your ear to me, my dear,
what a proud wind I would be...
Winter kisses blown from the whimsical side of my heart
as the snowflakes dance in the light of day, I dream
of castles in the sky and  angels all aglow in snow;
Feathered wishes as light as flakes
I love the way sunlight slants and shakes
the child in me is wide awake
Winter blessings sewn together on this January month
when the snowfall carpets the ground like a gown
the silence turns golden and my heart is light
Downy thoughts of wintertime
I hear the church bells chime
sounding so sublime
Winter spells of magic my eyes have seen the view
I love winter how about you ?
Witches brew its for you
Wallow not in that goo
Wall to wall mice,  Achoo !
Wanda's spell sticks like glue
Watcha gonna do - heh ?
When she says, " I want you! "
Witchcraft Day, just say Nay!
With eyes expressive as the morning sea
you looked at me but didn't say a word
A harlequin sun shone forth with glee
and suddenly I fluttered, like a bird.
Nocturnal visions of the highest order welcomes you
Priestess of ancient tribes...
Cast your spell, wrap the moon with dark tinsel shawls
Open the gateways dark anime girl ,
potentize your aerial fields of resonance
enter into the dragon's shrine and use your potion
to qualm the drake keeper;
Seize your destiny as the stars seizes the night
use your wizardry to dye the sun hairs off the sun
allow the purple bruises of evening to give you
eglantine kisses, dark as blackstrap molasses
if all else fails rock to the mellifluous rhythm
of tantric drums.  Ink your beauty on their bodies,
morosely caress their wounds and heal them,
Saturate them with your purple plum heart.
