He loved me with a liquid love
that never weakened, disappeared or vanished
He poured it into me with affection
so deep it felt like the ocean drank me

He loved me with no fences, bars or walls
not for one moment did he waver
His love was more profound than love itself
intense as the touch, of a burning bush

He loved me from above and from below
not even once did I have to walk alone
inside this Universe of spirit and bone

He loved me with Angels at His side
and with a razor mouth that spoke all truth
words of connection that only God could whisper
deep in my heart I knew, He was drawing me home

with His liquid love...
"All the wings of the air shall come to you and the winds and stars shall be like relatives." Quote by: Black Elk

From whence the dust of heaven powders soft
upon each wing of creature large or small
Journey starts when stars and winds are coiffed
upon all humankind, before the crawl
All wings of air shall dip and find their kin
on leaning branch of man by forest glade
Each expedition of the soul when life begins
is always lead by sun and then by shade
Fly to the moon or fly to Mars with stilts
it doesn't really matter you have legs
Mother Earth has loved you to the hilt
so on this land you'll live until life begs
Henceforth the days of you will be like dew
upon the earth, by God's supine design
The elk, the moose, the caribou and you
all walkers of the earth on heaven's time
From whence the dust of heaven powders soft,
as on this earth the wings of man remain, aloft.
Beating their wings hard against the wind
stars spring out soft, then slowly rescind
Unwinding their colors round fur line trees
the world as we know it falls at their knees;
Supernatural scents permeating the air
diffusing their magic with charm and with flare
Utopian eyes that wander then mirror
cool crystal waters that cloak and transmit her
Down in the orchard a butterfly sprite
with emerald wings to gage through the night
They dance and they flutter on wings of slow butter
hovering gently, to hither and skitter
inside a dominion of archmage enchanters.

A carpet of flowers surrounded by magic and dew
slow sip aromas of chamomile essence and feverfew.
Blessings from above* Transformed lust to love* Delusion to illumination* Earth-heaven bilocation

Heavenly Manna poured into our hearts like fine husked wheat
He makes sure we are always well fed and have enough to eat

Transforming lust to love, the pliable body learns with time
that the best kind of love is love agape, always close Divine

From false beliefs comes delusion, from delusion comes lies
only God can remove our blinders and open wide our eyes

Earth to heaven, as we stand outside ourselves we enter into ecstasy
propelling the soul forward and negating all things that lead to heresy.
I may be just a hat but from way up here I can see
that she has her clothes hung up like little soldiers
ready for service at the drop of a hat
As I tilt my linen peonies and squint in her closet
I see a mish mash of flowery designs and I cringe
She shops at the thrifty store down the road
and I can see she favors cotton for it can breathe easy
and her favorite colors are blue and sea green.
The scent of her peppermint halo clings to her clothes
like a tight fitting slip, that I know she doesn't wear.
So many shrugs and so many t shirts, oh my oh my !
The one think I have noticed from my privileged point of view
it that she owns no black. She thinks its for funerals,
so she opts for vibrant colors and her favorite, is red.
I know I am being biased because I'm her favorite hat
and happen to be red but I must admit she wears me well !
Love it when she picks me up and places me on her head,
like I were the cat's meow.  When she faces the mirror
and says, " When I wear you hat, I feel like I'm being me"
a peel of her laughter follows.  Each time she tilts me up
towards the sun I must agree, she is who she says she is,
a free spirit who loves life, to the fullest.
The little urchin sat by the sea watching the waves splash
no parent to watch him no rules to obey, just a big old sea
He survived on wild berries and fresh catch of the day
half crazed with heat he wore nothing but skin hide

A little roe deer depleted by summer, lost but not found
no rescue mission in question for this child, un-abused
He was raised by wolves in the thicket of the forest
respecting nature he ate what he caught with bare hands

A feral one with matted dreadlocks and eyes like sea glass
moved like a panther with stealth, as he surfed the shore
first human contact was made by a fisherman on his arrival
it took years to build up the trust, but eventually he spoke.

Dear Daughter,

Sit inside still waters and receive the baptism of your saving grace.
I know you carried the torch of my love like an Olympic runner but
now you must be quiet and rest. I am the Sacred Heart alive in you.
Be still and know that I am water, raindrops of your Holy Blessings.
Don't be like doubting Thomas. I know you don't need to see my
wounds to know that I love you.  Those were loving wounds,
meant to save an entire human race.  Yes, even you.

Dear Father

I lose all notion of the world as I know it, when I sit here with you.
The walls of this church fall away and I soar like a silent eagle towards
you.  My feet hardly touch the ground, and even the statues around me
don't make a sound. Sky and water that is what I'll be when I arrive at
your shore.  I will be your sea shell, gather me and hold me to your tunic,
help me be more like you, loving, caring and beautiful.
