Billows of a winter snow blowing through my curtain window
all I sweet remember is the way the willow tree smelled
that creamy, sugary, wintergreen scent of its lovely mellow
and the way the sun tilted each time you looked at me...
Snowflakes falling from a heavy laden sky of marble
and though my heart is longing, it is full of your song
that slow jazz music made us drunk as we danced
beneath the sultry moon, like a a fork and spoon
February shivers, my how the winter defuses
all that is left is the scent of a warmth remembered
healing hands,  * secret pillow talks
You grew old I grew old, then we both stopped living
My how I recall those winter snaps,
two young lovers lost in the silk of life's entwine
I remember when our love was fresh and new
like the weeping willow, dressed to the nines
Ah !  But those were different times and now is now,
I am presently lost, ... in this winter pow.
Valentine notions of floral bouquets
sweet sweetened chocolates from Brigadeiro
velvet talks and smooth kisses without delay,
Cupid sure knows,  which way to shoot the arrow;
Darling cards that say I love you
better than a dream at heaven's door
bon bons, red balloons and blue
who could ask for anything more.
Beloved, dear, honey,sugar pie, precious
these saccharine words cling to the heart
like a magnet to the soul, love is gracious
and always plays its part;
Winter kisses blown from the whimsical side of my heart
as the snowflakes dance in the light of day, I dream
of castles in the sky and  angels all aglow in snow;
Feathered wishes as light as flakes
I love the way sunlight slants and shakes
the child in me is wide awake
Winter blessings sewn together on this January month
when the snowfall carpets the ground like a gown
the silence turns golden and my heart is light
Downy thoughts of wintertime
I hear the church bells chime
sounding so sublime
Winter spells of magic my eyes have seen the view
I love winter how about you ?
When the sun arises in the morning above the pristine snow
and the stillness of the silence brings the panting deer ahead
When the heaven laden trees of winter slices heaven's glow
I know for sure that you will be there, in all of my tomorrows

When the train has bridged the miles across the forest glades
and the January snowflakes have swiveled through the air,
like a thousand glistening diamonds, I will  venture into safety
with the knowledge that you'll be there, in all of my tomorrows

When winter turns to spring and then to softer June
I will wait inside this garden where all the flowers bloom
with the fragrance of her damask you will know that I was there
and you'll be certain of my presence, in all of your tomorrows,

In all of our tomorrows, we'll be there.
Quote: Both the enchantress and the siren charmer
are part of the same one.

Fired red wings on the breath of a dawning
he lifts and soars towards life, a breath away
from sunrise, chittering before he takes swing
this cardinal of beauty knows how to sing

she a rose in a luscious garden of pure love
a blush of pink dotted with pistil and grace
a daylight sea of beauty sent from above
daybreak breaks and a flower opens her face

both the cardinal and the rose are essential
to our well being we need their reverence.
He a sign of longevity so reverential,
she a sign of love and courage in her essence

we find the Echantress in all of our selves
in his, we find a siren charmer who delves.
Adrift her world no obstacles no dreams to moor, immobilized and still
she sailed through stardust particles then glode into the nil
Into the fire of night she tousled through, by daylight saving time a strew
a scattering of stars appeared leading her inside a flower garden made for two;
The scent of Angel trumpets, gardenias, evening primrose
blended with a fragrant voice, she simply had no choice
as she pressed her little hand against the lunar soil's embroil,
foam flowers, chocolate daisies, and Liliums appeared;
A shift, then suddenly beyond the reach of earth a blessed gift of lift
she flew inside that dwelling place where benevolent souls ignite;
Fawning love plush against the evening breeze
even stars of night choose their light protease
when a small child enters an evening Kingdom,
like a Grandiflorus cactus, falling backwards into time...
A Quote: Those who think there is a time limit to grief,
have never lost a piece of their heart.
**
If I could clip a wing upon my thoughts
or pluck a rose from my heart for you
if I could rocket up like an astronaut
then I know that I would never, be blue

If I could turn into a lantern bright
or be the sun that rises every day
if I could reach you in that place of light
I know that in my heart, you'd always stay

If I could stop the world from turning blue
or pluck a tinsel from our family tree
if I could love you better after you
have gone to be with God, then I'd be free

But since I had to live on memories this year,
the only thing I pray for is strength, from my lips to God's ear.
